We really enjoy the pre-made bottles of Margaritas. Not the coolers, but the big bottles that have the Tequilla, and Triple Sec already in them. Here in Ohio we can buy them at the grocery, but I know in SC, we could not. They were only sold at the liquor store.

Does anyone know if they are available at the grocery in FL?

Thanks :sunny:

Last Sept the only alcoholic beverages we saw in the grocery were beer and wine. We shopped at a Winn Dixie near Crossroads that was right next to a liqour store so it wasn't a problem to swing by there on our way to the hotel. Maybe someone who lives in FLA can give you a more definite answer.

You'll have to buy those margaritas at the liquor store -- they're not classified as beer or wine, so you can't get them in a grocery store.

we can't get beer, wine, or anything in our groceries in PA
I would like to try those pre made margaritas though. Have to check the liquor store. Coconut rum rocks. :cool1:

When I lived in Florida, several of the grocery chains (Albertson's did, and I believe Kash n Kary as well) had separate liquor stores. They are adjacent to the regular grocery, but have separate outside entrances.

If you do your grocery stop at one of those stores (you'll want to check ahead to be sure they have liquor stores), then you'd be able to take care of the groceries & liquor with one stop.

In the state of Florida, liquor cannot be sold in grocery stores. A lot of the grocery stores that had liquor stores have started doing away with them, but there are still a number of Kash N Karry's and Albertsons that have them, but not as many as there used to be. The liquor store chain that usually has the best prices is ABC Liquor.

If you have a car take the exit from DTD down Hotel Blvd. Then take a right onto that main road, I think it is I-385 but not too sure. There is a Walgreens about 2 blocks away with a liquor store right next to it in the same shopping plaza. I usually go there because it is close access to the resort I usually stay in OKW.
I know there are a few liquor stores on US-192 if you are closer to that exit.
I prefer to do my food shopping at Publics or Walmart rather than Crossroads because of the higher prices at Goodings. They only have wine and beer in the grocery stores. Peggie

Just a quick note -- actually, the road outside WDW you turn on to from Hotel Plaza Blvd. is S.R. 535-Apopka Vineland Rd. If you go there from Hotel Plaza and turn left, there's an ABC Liquor in front of a Kash and Karry a few blocks down. If you turn right, there's a Walgreens and a liquor store, or you can (from the same direction) take a left on to Vineland Rd, follow it around to the Publix where there is also a liquor store in the same shopping center.

Check your local CVS or Walgreens. I found them for about $1.00 cheaper there on accident over Easter. I used to buy them Farmer Jack / Kroger but now I am buying them at CVS for cheaper price!
