Hi Guys,

We're visiting Orlando in April and arrive mid-afternoon on the final day of Mardi Gras (April 18th), we've never been during Mardi Gras before so with it being the final day we're hoping to catch the parade and hopefully Nelly, although I have no idea where the concerts are held, could anyone shed a little light? Are we able to do both the parade and the concert or will we need to sacrifice one for the other!? Any hints or tips will be gratefully received as we dont want to arrive and try and get our bearings and miss everything

Thanks :goodvibes

The concerts start tight after the parade and is standing room only (no seats). I'd watch the parade near where the concert is and then head over to the concert area. You can see the concert anywhere in the standing area. If you want to be upfront for the concert, then you'll need to skip the parade and wait for the concert. I always do both the parade and then the concert and have never had any problem with seeing and hearing the concert. Just be aware that the parade (which normally starts at 8:00 PM) will start at 9:00 PM on that night.
