We have a trip planned during our school's Mardi Gras break, which is also President's week this year. We just found out that DH's work has canceled all vacation for the first couple of months of the year for a project. DH submitted an exemption request, but we won't know if he will be approved for a month or two. I just looked at flights and RPR, and it looks like we can rebook the SW flights for thanksgiving for the same price, as its very expensive to fly out of New Orleans during MG, and RPR is actually cheaper bc there is an APH discount (although there may be one released for Feb, eventually).
So, the only difference may be the crowds. Do you think Tgiving will be that much more crowded than President's/MG week? Would the difference in crowd levels be worth the risk of waiting to see if DH can take the time off in Feb? I need to book ASAP as Tgiving is only 4 1/2 weeks away, but the beauty of Universal is that it doesn't require 6 months to plan!
