Mardi Gras or Luau?

Would you recommend Mardi Gras or the Luau at Royal Pacific Hotel? They're both Sat night. We have 2 kids, 8 and 11.

We also are thinking about the Mardi Gras or the Luau. Although I think the Mardi Gras would be fun, I'm leaning toward the Luau. It's our first night, we have 3 kids as well, a little younger than yours. The Luau is right at the hotel, it has fire eating men, and hula girls, I think that would be fun.

I would vote for luau. We went with our DS (9). The food was very good to excellent and the show was very enertaining. They have a kids buffet for the pickey eaters. It was our last full day and I figured my DS would want to leave early, but we stayed for the entire show. It ended about 9.

I am in same dilema was hoping to do the luau but my kids really want too see the bands so no luau
