Mardi Gras in Disneyland?

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows whether Disneyland does anything special for Mardi Gras? Considering they have New Orleans Square, it seems like a natural fit! I was just checking the Touring Plans Calendar, and the dates of our Feb trip coincide with the holiday! Would like to know if we should look for special things to do/eat/see. Thanks!

Last year Disneyland did Family Fun Weekends with Mardi Gras being a few of the weekends. We were there last year during one of the weekends & the characters were dressed in bright Mardi Gras costumes, they did a special little parade & meet-n-greets & Tiana put on a longer show....all in New Orleans Square area. I haven't seen any announcement of them doing that again this year....so not sure if they're doing anything special for the holiday or not.

NOS is always quite decorative holiday or not....so you can always celebrate it by getting yourself some gumbo & beignets at Cafe Orleans!!
