Mardi Gras events in Disney?

Does anyone know what, when, where any Mardi Gras related events will be going on this weekend and next week in WDW? Surprisingly, Disney's website has no refence to Fat Tuesday, but I have heard that there are events... I even heard that a New Orleans High School (Jesuit) band will be marching down Main Street.
Any thoughts?

They used to have Mardi Gras themed events at the Port Orleans Resort (F.Q.) in the late afternoons. There were cooking demonstrations, a guy that made balloon animals, a juggler, and even a mini parade with the kids.

It was a couple of years ago, so I'm not sure if they're still doing it.

Hey Mark,

I know that there will parades at Pleasure Island. I believe that is the only site on Disney property. Although, Universal has a big celebration each year.

I know for me, I try to stay clear. That's why I left for Disney.
