My DD needs a new marching plastic clarinet. She's in HS now and the clarinet she's been using is her original one she's had since 4th grade when she started playing and it was in a very used condition back then. There are way too many things needing to be fixed on it and the cost way exceeds what I think a new/slightly used one may be now - using Ebay prices as a benchmark.
Here's my question. She had a plastic Vito before. There are so many styles of these 7212, 7214, 7250, V40, Resotone, that my head is swimming. Which one is best for an advanced marching student? Many of the descriptions say that they're great for beginners, but she's not a beginner. Even the descriptions on Vito Leblanc's website are generally the same words and isn't descriptive enough for me to know which model would be best.
Can anyone help me in choosing the right/appropriate model for an marching band/advanced clarinet player?
