We were supposed to go in December, but hubby cant get the time off of work, what is March like there problary be there the middle of the month

Thanks in advance

We went in March this year, for St. Patrick's day long weekend. (Can you believe they close the schools here for St. Pat's and the day before? It is a HUGE holiday here, go figure...) It was more crowded than I like it, I prefer to walk onto all the rides... :rotfl: I still haven't figured out what time of year I can do that...September, I guess. Anywho...waits for the big rides were about 45min-1 hour, we used FP and it was fine. It wasn't really THAT bad, although we were at ASsports in between all the college kids...luckily the guys next door that could have been big trouble were very sweet and considerate, and they kept very quiet. We went to BB and TL and there was hardly any wait for any of the slides...Very nice weather for that.

I would go again at that time if the holiday aligned for us...Things get pretty out of hand here for St. Pat's, so I would rather be in WDW!

Have a great trip!!

March is Spring break time of rmany kids around the Country, and esp the colleges. So it can be a bit crowded (esp. if Easter falls in March) but otherwise it is my favorite time of year to go. It is also one of the more expensive times of year to go to WDW.

After a long winter, the warm sun feels fabulous! March is comfortably warm enough to go on the water rides and go swimming - if not every day, almost every day, but it is also not so hot that you melt in the heat.

Depending on where you live, you get home just in time to watch the first spring flowers poke their heads out! Psychologically, it's a great time of year to go to WDW.

Allearsnet.com has great info about weather, crowds, etc, at various times of year.

Ive been twice in March.. This past year we went the first week of March.. In past I went the third week of March, I believe.. Neither was that bad.. The time I went the 3rd week the most we had to wait in line was maybe 15 minutes.. We used Fastpass as much as possible which really helped for the bigger attractions.. The only one we had a longer wait was on Test Track.. we waited about 45 minutes and that was in the fastpass line.. I cant imagine how long the standby line would have been..

Yes there were people everywhere but it wasnt that bad.. Ive been in July and it was much busier than.. The weather in March is quite nice.. I believe it was in the 80's during the day.. It did get a little chilly in the evening though..

I would definitely go in March again in a heartbeat..

How were the crowds for you when you went the first week in March?

March is the only time we can go. As a matter of fact we are going this March. We where there March '04 and '05 and the crowds were do-able. Weather is great! We where there on Easter Sunday in '05 and as I said yes it was crowded, but do-able.

We've been there the first 10 days in March six of the last last 8 years. Great weather and crowds no worse than 'Moderate' in my opinion. Get to the parks early, use FP and you'll do fine. If you plan on table service dining in WDW, get those ressies NOW.

We go in March, and the temp can go either way. Last year it was shorts and sun, but the year before that it was cold and wet. It's really crowded, but Disney does a good job of keeping everyone happy. We're going in 2007 from March 8 to March 16. I know you'll have a good time. When do you normally go? Are you use to waiting in lines, or just getting right on the rides? It can be quite a change from what you're used to.

The first week of March wasnt bad at all.. That was when we went the first time and didnt wait more than 15 minutes in line other than Test Track.. We utilized Fastpass..

if that's the only time you can go then definitely go. you don't say if children are involved. whatever, utilize EMH. fastpass. go to minor attractions you may enjoy rather then the major attractions if lines are not your thing. go to shows and high capacity events like hall of presidents or fast loading rides like haunted mansion. you can still enjoy WDW no matter what

march is iffy due to spring breaks but you can always have fun especially since the weather is not hot in march

We visited once during the 2nd week of March. IIRC, it was pleasantly cool. Crowds were fairly low. I would go back again at that time of year if my schedule allowed

I visited WDW this past March and found the parks to be somewhat crowded, and especially crowded at Epcot during the PM extra magic hour evening I attended.

But my main reason for visiting in March was so I could watch some Atlanta Braves spring training baseball games. Cracker Jack Stadium is fun, and since I love professional baseball, March is a great time to visit WDW.

Enjoy.
