March vs August

Any thoughts on crowd levels for March 18-21 (Sun-Thurs) vs the 2nd or 3rd weekend of August? I had been planning to add a few days in Disneyland to our family trip to San Diego in August since it looked like it would be our only trip of the year. Now a few vacation days have opened up in March. It would be nice to do two separate trips and only focus on one place at a time, but I have no idea what Disneyland is like in March. It looks like both times would be busy, but would one be better than the other?

Crowdwise the advatage would be with that period in March.

Though second week of August may be a better time to visit. DCA's construction will be done, less rehabs in general, possibly longer hours and full entertaiment.

The 3rd week that contains the 20-23rd of Ausgust should be avoided at all costs. APs will flood the parks after being blocked all summer.

We always do August mostly due to the work we do and really love it. As SkiingFast says......
