Finally after years of 'thinking' of doing it we are planning a March break trip to California so I'm hoping for some info/help. It will be everyone's first time there - I can't count the time we went when I was 4 yrs old as I don't remember it!!
Cast consists of Myself, dh, 17yo ds, 12yods and gramma and grampa.
Our plan right now is to fly into LAX (or surrounding airport depending on prices) on a Wednesday. Stay for 3 nights *somewhere* in LA convienient to see some of the main attractions. Move to the GC DVC resort on the Saturday for 4 nights to do 2 days at DL and not sure what else for the other 2 days. Then to keep mil happy we will be heading to Vegas for 3 nights. Hoping to do a grand canyon tour there. Then we will fly home from Vegas.
Can someone suggest somewhere in LA area to stay (and where we should be thinking of staying) My budget is maximum $200/night... less would be better! What about top attractions to see/do?
And how about in Vegas? similar budget. We would like to stay on the strip but the number and variety of hotels are very overwhelming. Mil is going for the casino's and the rest of us are going to just see the sights and the boys are along for the ride
Thanks!
