March temperature

what is the usual weather in March? Trying to figure what kind of clothes to pack.

When in March are you going? We were there during the first week in March last year and it was chilly in mornings and at night- a light jacket was sufficient. And, during the day it got pretty warm- shorts were appropriate. I believe our arrival date was Feb 27th or 28th and it was cold all day and windy.

We will be there 2/27 - 3/5....I plan to pack a bit of everything, just to be safe. I'm thinking long pants with long sleeves under tee shirts so we can strip down when it hopefully warms up!

There is lockers you can rent in the front of every park, it's great for those times of years you might want to have jackets or something to put over shorts.. grab a locker, put the stuff you don't need to carry in it and if you get cold later come back and get your jackets.

I've always found March to be chilly in the morning - I pretty much wear capris the whole trip since I find it too cold for shorts when we leave the room in the morning. We usually bring hoodies, too.

We were there March 7-14, 2015 and it was 80s-90s every day and very humid. We packed a little of everything but had to do laundry and wore shorts all week. We went the same time in 2010 and were in jeans and sweatshirts all day. It rally varies and is hard to pack for.

My view is that it all depends on where you're from and what you're used to. I assume if you're from the south, March may be chilly (as noted above) - if you're from northern states, not so much.

We're from Canada, where March trips are a break from snow and highs in the 30's. For us, 60 = shorts/t-shirts, 65 = pool weather and 70 = air conditioning.
On our last three March trips, we put on hoodies at night while walking around the parks (still in shorts) - but at the same time, see people with touques and gloves on, searching for coffee and hot chocolate.
