Anyone know of flight deals SK to WDW March 20-26? days are flexible. We are not opposed to drive to Calgary for direct flights or good deal. Considering flying out of Fargo, ND. Have not been to WDW in 10 years. What are the must see attractions for a 2 & 6 year old? Trip is mostly business so with just one available parent for the majority of the day it might be best to hang out mostly at Magic Kingdom.

Thanks.

You don't say where you are in SK, or where you'd be flying out of, but your best bet is to try Travelocity or Expedia to get an idea of different flight options. With either of those you can look at different options for departure cities. Once you find a flight and price you like, you can then go to the airline's website to book that flight.

Unfortunately booking this close to your trip, you most likely won't get a great deal.

Also, keep in mind that your dates may coincide with spring break for some US schools.

You might get lucky with last minute deals but likely you won't get anything spectacular. I know last week West Jet had KILLER deals to Orlando out of Toronto for $69 each way. I think Saskatoon and Calgary were about $169 each way. Might get lucky and see something like that pop up again.

Just keep an eye out on all the travel websites:

  • Expedia
  • West Jet
  • Travelocity
  • Air Canada

You will be hitting WDW during the US Spring Break so it will be pretty busy for the month of March. Since you're taking very young children the Magic Kingdom would be your best bet. Fantasyland would be the best places.

EDIT: Mickey's Toon Town will be closed permanently by then.

Thank you everyone.

Regina is our nearest airport, sorry I did not mention that but I will go where the deal is. I expect Orlando International is our destination. mmmmm Spring Break. Not sure I like the sound of that. On the bright side maybe Carousel of Progress will be open if the park is busy?

ToonTown will be closed permanently by then so it's not an option.

Allegiant Air flies from Fargo, ND to Orlando. They have $75 flights for the week after you want to go if you can change your dates at all.

Hi Club33forme, have you checked out Delta and United yet. Generally, they will have better flight times and connections through Minneapolis, Denver, or Chicago from Regina. With Air Canada and WestJet you will probably connect in Toronto. If your dates are flexible, try flying mid-week as it will probably be cheaper.

Driving to Fargo is an option but Allegiant flies into Sanford airport not MCO so you'd have to rent a car. Are you staying on site? If so then you could take DME (Disney's Magical Express bus service) from MCO to your Disney resort.

I use Kayak.com for checking out different flight options.

Thanks Again all. I will explore all options. Did not know about Toon Town. Mostly a Disneyland'r. Why are they closing Toon town? Disneyland as well?

It was announced in September 2009 that WDW would be doing a facelift/expansion of the Fantasyland section of the Magic Kingdom to be completed in 2012 and 2013.

Thanks a bunch, sounds like this is not the best time to take the entire crew.
