March Rates ~ any deals (historically)?

Hi, I'm looking at going during dd's March/spring Break which is March 10th, 2003. Does anyone recall codes and deals? S

I went March 14-19, 2001 and all I could get was rack rate.

March is not a good month for discounts/codes due to high attendance with spring breakers. Sandra, a better time to book the Grand Floridian (hint hint) would be early Feb. or late April/May.

We got an Am Ex discount last March 9-16. Can't remember exactly the rate but around $100 for CBR. Not sure if they will offer discounts next year though as I've read Disney hasn't renewed a contract with AM Ex but maybe VISA instead?...We are considering traveling over Thanksgiving next year instead because of the price difference.

We went March 2002, Spring Break. The best deal we could get was an upsell rate at AKL for $210 savannah view. I called and asked for moderates and we were offered an upsell to AKL. We had reservations at WL for rack rates, and so we cancelled that one and booked AKL.
