march photopass share full

I am going March 8-14. Anyone interested in doing a photopass share? I'll do all the work. I did it last year, and really loved the price, unfortunately our "in charge" person was slow and we didn't get our CD's till months later, so I decided I'd better do it this year and get them done right away.

I've done it twice and it works out great! I am booking 2/26-3/5 and I can hold out to add photos until later in the month. Can I squeak in?

I think it will work with both of you. I beleive you have 30 days from when they go on the card till you upload them, and then another 30 days on the site.
What I will do is have you all give me your card numbers as you get back,try to do only one card or two if needed (I know sometimes you leave on in the room) and about the time I get back (14th or 15th) I'll start uploading the ones that have gone before me, once your card is uploaded I'll then send you the info to get to them (I have heard this works better for most groups so not everyone is loading at the same time) But it will also mean that Wendy will need to edit fast, as we will have to order with in a few days or so of her getting back home.
So right now we have 3 including me. I would like to get 3 more. then I'll order the CD early for the cheaper price. I will probably add $4 per person for shipping and getting blank CD charges, and if you then pay me by paypal just add another dollar for the fees they charge. So it would roughly come out to 20 each then $1 more if you use paypal.

Hi. I am new at this, but not to disney or photopass. We'll be there March 15-22? Would you have room for us? What is involved and how do you make the switch. My fear is what if someone loses the card since you have so many in the swap? Thanks!

Hey, your from Ohio too. I'm in Northwest though. LOL!
What you will do is PM (or email) me your photopass numbers on the card/s. Then I will load them in and give you the pass word and you can get on edit your own pictures. Once we are done, I order the CD and make copies and send a copy off to everyone in the share.
I will try to seperate families if possible, but I have heard that they now go on the site according to date taken rather than when you load them. But I don't know that for sure, and not sure if I could tell each family apart. LOL!

To be able to PM you will need to get more than 10 posts.
Also I will give you all my phone numbers, email and address, just so you feel safer.

We will be there March 14-22 but am very new to this photo pass stuff so I'm not sure if it will be good for us or not but willing to look into it more.

The photopass sounds super! I'm happy to e-mail you whatever you need. Would you like me to paypal the money? When and how? Thanks for going to all the effort for this. We wouldn't do this otherwise.
Aren't you excited to get out of this nasty OH weather!
One other question- does this work by everyone getting a copy of the CD's and then we can individually take them to a store and print out the prints we want in whatever sizes,etc.? I don't think we'll want any photo mugs or anything from Disney, so I think all we want is access to make prints. Do I have the right idea?

right. You will get a copy of the release and you can either take them somewhere, or what I do is load them on to a site like snapfish and order all my pictures that way. However you want.
You don't do any ordering on the actual site. I order the CD and it comes to me, and then I make the copies. I think if you want to make mugs and such then you are probably not one for a share. But looks like thats not what you want anyways. (plus you can probably get things like that cheaper on other sites)
I will wait for money right now till we get a few more people and have our group set.
I wish I would've known about these shares 2 years ago. I basically found out after I returned. LOL! I didn't have alot of pictures that year, so I didn't get the CD, but did get the photobook. And that was pretty pricey too, but still less money than the CD.

I'll work on the posts & I don't know exactly how the PM thing works (I'm new to the dis), but I'll try to check back every now and then for any new info.
I have read up on this since the first post & I think it sound perfect for us. FYI - there is another thread that has all the info on how this works in case we all need to get on the same page we could just cut and paste that to our thread.
Looking on the Disney site, it doesn't seem like this isn't legit or anything. SO, I think it's a go. Thanks!

I've was in a WDW photopass share last December and it went very well

I posted on another thread here about the photoshare, but was not sure if anyone was the organizer, so would definately like to join your group as I'm going Mar 30 - Apr 2 with my daughter.

That should work. If I hold off putting the numbers in till after I get back, say the 15th, then we would have to have it ordered no later than the 14th of April I beleive. Of course if more people come on wanting to do this we can split the group up into two, one for the first part of March and one for the second part. We'll give it a few more days or so and see what we come up with and who else wants to join.

Hope you have room for me. We bought our own for our last trip and it was well worth it, but only two of our four kids will be along in March. I won't be quite so agressive about getting family photos.

We may end up with 2 groups if we keep getting such a good response, so if anyone else wants to head one let me know and then once we get enough we can split the groups. If not we can all go in one most likely. But it might be better to put the early to middle ones in one group and middle to late in another.

The photopass share, for those asking is pretty easy. When you go to Disney they have photopass photographer at the parks in different areas. They give you a card andtake your pictures. Then each time you get your picture taken, you give them that same card and they wil lscan it and the pictures will be on there. When you get back, you then give me your number (on the back of a card) and I will enter it into the photopass site under my account. Once I do that, I'll give you the account and password. You can then go on and look at your pictures. They also have borders andthings to add o you pictures. Once we are all done, I order the CD and it comes to me. I then burn copies for everyone and send them to you.
