Would you sail in Mid March or Mid June?

We have always sailed in late April / early May and are wondering about the weather, crowds, etc.

I vote mid- June, which I did this year. Great weather and the price was a little better than mid-March (remember spring breaks)

We loved March. Weather was gorgoeus...not too hot, yet plenty warm enough for swimming. We did the land/sea and WDW was not very crowded then either. (As long as you avoid common spring break times)

If price were the same I would go mid June. We've been mid March before and it was a little cool for me. However, when we priced our Disney cruise a year ago mid June was much more expensive than March 13 (our Spring Break) and as there are 6 of us so we need 2 rooms we went with the less expensive option. Good luck!

WE'D LOVE TO HAVE YOU JOIN US ON THE JUNE 19TH 7-DAY . THERE ARE 59 AT THIS POINT GOING AND THERE IS A THREAD(BACK A COUPLE OF PAGES) WITH A LIST OF ALL THE AGES OF THE CHILDREN SO FAR. WE HAVE A WIDE AGE SPAN TO CHOSE FROM. WE'RE HOPING TO ADD MORE TO OUR MERRY LITTLE GROUP.:wave2:

The price difference between March and June is pretty dramatic. For 2004 with the early booking discount, the price difference for 4 "adults" was about $1000. This was for 20 March vs 12 June in a cat 11. Next year with Easter being in March, the difference may be less.

Thank you for the replies,

Dean, which one was higher March or June??

We are looking at 2005 and we know that the June sailings have not been announced.

Does anyone think that a new itenarary will be announced for that time.

Thanks,

Doug

June was the higher one.

I'd choose mid June myself. We did the 7 night June 7th this year and it was great. The weather was perfect, though alittle hot in Key West and cozumel. Being from Florida, I'm used the heat so it didn't really bother us. You didn't say if you wanted to do the 7 night or the 3/4 night. If you do the 3 or 4 night, just remember that March can still be alittle chilly.

Chilly in March? We are going on the 3 night Wonder March 4. We have been to FL many times in Feb/March as this is our Spring Break. Each year the temps vary...as high as 90 and as low as 60. I hope this year is a warm one! Last year we went in April and it was too hot 90+. Friends went in early March and had 85 degree weather.

60 is chilly to me coming from Florida! It's not weather that I would go to the beach or swim in. March is usually a great month, but can be an off month as well. There have been times when it been 38 in the morning and I live all the way down in Naples. It can also be in the 80's. I personally would still choose mid June if i could.

I think we are going to plan on the eastern 7 day for mid June, 05.

We like the extra day at sea, but would like to go somewhere different this time. I think if the itinerary doesnt change, we might just spend 7 days on the ship. Not bad duty.
