Hi there! We want to head to Mouseland for a week in 2008 and need to decide between March (15th through 22nd - Easter :scared1: ) or the end of August (20th through 27th). It may be harder for me to get vacation time in August but still a possibility if I really try. Any things for me to consider? I assume that March may be busier than late August but that may be wrong? Also, the dreaded hotel questions! Has anyone stayed in a CCI premium room with 5? I know that it is a bit bigger than the regular room. Thanks for any advice!:grouphug:

march is much cooler than august, august tends to be the hottest month. so really depends on what you would prefer temp wise, i don't think either way you will escape the crowds.

August (that week) is way better crowd wise. Spring Break is the second or third busiest time period of the year (behind Christmas and Thanksgiving maybe)

I would vote for March. With spring breaks varying so much lately, it will be really crowded but the crowd will be spread out from March 15th through mid April. The difference is the weather - I can't stand crowds and heat at the same time, at least if it is cool it is easier to deal with. March is usually soooo pleasent here.

Thanks for all the input! I am worried about the crowds but crazy crowds plus crazy heat can make for a crazy mom!!!

Typically it is hotter in August, but not always. I was there in 2005 celebrating my 21st birthday and it was overcast and chilly the entire day. Many cast members told me it was been extremely hot just the week before, so you really never know about the weather. But really, whenever you go, you'll have a great time! :thumbsup2
