After looking at the level 10 crowd expectations I am saying to myself - "Disney
at spring break...What was I thinking??!!!"
However keeping with the thought a bad day at DIsney is better than no day at
Disney...we are going for it. Just myself and my DD age 19. Giving her a much
needed spring break away from college.
So I have tweaked and re-tweaked the itinerary so here it is:
Day One Saturday March 10 - arrive at Orlando about 10:45 - hoping to be at Pop
by noon. Sure room won't be ready, so we'll drop off bags and head to Magic
Kingdom. (Day one of Spring break season, plus it is a Saturday, so we are
expecting CROWDS!!! But we will be there 2 other half days, so we will be kind
of leisurely today, seeing what we can. No special dinner plans, maybe Pecos
Bill's for a burger!! Hoping to have enough energy to stay for MSEP and Wishes!
Day Two - Sunday - Heading to DHS. Of course, keep in mind I totally forgot it
was daylight savings this weekend, so we lose a precious hour of sleep (ugh!!!).
So getting to rope drop will be a challenge! But we will do our best. Usually we
can plow through DHS in about a half day so we are hoping to do DTD in the
afternoon. 6PM resizes at Flying FIsh, then we will take the path for a nice
walk back to DHS for one of the Fantasmic shows (maybe the later one, depending
on our energy!)
Day Three - Monday - Epcot for the entire day. 4:30 PM ressies at Teppen Edo.
Evening pastries for desert in France then Illuminations.
Day Four - Tuesday - AK for half day (usually only takes half day for us).
Rainforest Cafe for lunch at noon. Then over to MK for the afternoon, evening.
Will stay for Wishes and MSEP if we didn't make it on day one. 8PM dinner at
O'Hana!!! My favorite!!
Day Five - Wednesday - departure day 8AM ressies at Crystal Palace and then MK
until about 11:30. Then sadly
back to Pop to catch Magical express back to the
airport...wiping tears already at the thought.
My only concern with the plan is that despite having a few half days at MK, we
don't really have a full morning till night day there....but just couldn't make
it work with dining plans,etc.
Would love feedback/opinions!! Only 20 more days!!!!
