March high season LOW amenities

Where is the official list of closures/refurbishments?

I have seen Peoplemover scheduled to be closed during our early March trip on some sites and others don't have it listed.

I actually love Peoplemover to rest my feet for a bit but still see sights.

I must be overlooking on the official WDW website.

With a place as big as WDW, there will always be some refurbishments going on. What I love about March is the glorious weather. It's my favorite time to be down in Orlando weather wise for sure. It's high season because of spring break (some kids off of school) and great weather. // You always have the option to postpone your trip when their are fewer refurbishments or not ones you care about that much going on.

I think Splash is scheduled to open on the 22nd of March, so it isn't out of the question that it opens earlier.

For all you March visitors, it looks like we'll have at least one less closure. Wdwmagic reported today that the Peoplemover refurb has been postponed until later in the year. It's not a headliner, but we love it, so I'm awfully happy for this news!

Wow! I am actually really glad to hear this! I guess I have taken the PeopleMover for granted :) I was surprised at how dissapointed I was to hear it would be closed! Now, I am doing the happy dance! :yay:

Yay thank you thank you. You just made my day!!!

Ok so this is the first time we are trying going in march during what is deemed as spring break by Disney standards. I am in awe at all that will not be in full operation or availability when we go and paying the same as summer season prices. These are just a few.
1. No splash mountain
2. decreased monorail operation
3. No magic kingdom day parade
4. No Animal kingdom day parade
5. no Lion King show

Hey man, I hear you, but whenever you make a post like this, there inevitably will be people who respond "THEN DON'T GO". Any expression of disappointment will be met with that kind of taunt, even though of course you may have already considered not going at that time and don't need it pointed out to you that not going is an option.

If you do go, I hope you have fun, and I hope something special happens and Splash re-opens early for you.
