March Exercise Challenge -

Off to get this updated! Looks like everyone is MOVING!!! DD20 has midterms this week and has been on my computer non-stop - GRRR!!!!

Off to run errands and go to Planet Fitness (we joined yesterday & cancelled our old gym).

Hi, Julie! I'm in for 1500 again.

So far, I am at 218/1500:
3/1 - 60 minutes elliptical
3/2 - 65 minutes stationary bike
3/3 - 93 minutes 1/2 marathon training
 
Ok, I am going to stick with the amount I had from last month and see if I can achieve it with the whole month to go - 1200 minutes!

So far I started yesterday with:

Yesterday at the gym:
5 minutes on the bike
40 minutes weight routine
25 minutes on treadmill

Total of 70 minutes


So I am at 70/1200
 
March 5 - walked 5.15 miles [longest distance so far - woo hoo!] 93 min
March 5 - walked dogs 45 min

March 6 - week 3 of the C2K program - 32 min

This is my first Challenge! Woo hoo!

I am aiming for 1000 because that seems to be a pretty popular number. My first week (below) will be an aberration, since we were on vacation and I promised myself a few days of NOTHING afterwards.

I am doing the Jeff Galloway conditioning program (my first step in training for the 2013 Princess), so my totals will even out as I get back to it. I also have a March of Dimes walk coming up at the end of March to look forward to as well!

March 1 - 6 Hours at MK! I decided we probably were walking around for 4 hours, so 240 Minutes
March 2 - Nothing (recovering from WDW)
March 3 - Walmart and grocery shopping, 120 minutes
March 4 - Nothing
March 5 - Nothing

So, so far 360/1000!
 
I'd like to join in I'll commit to 1000 minutes my dd and I are don't our first 5k at the end of this month

So far I have 96/1000
 
March 5 - 30 minutes bike, 20 minutes strength training with free weights.

277/1500
 
30 mins flexibility and strength
30 mins cross ramp
30 mins treadmill
 
3/5 - 65 minutes deepwater aerobics
3/6 - 60 minutes elliptical

This puts me at 343/1500
 
Gym yesterday for another round of my new strength training plan.

60 minutes weight training
10 minutes crosstrainer
20 minutes stationary bike
90 minutes total

So, this makes me at 160/1200
 
Back to the walking / running!

3/5 - 30 minutes of walking which included a total of 5 minutes of running.

390/1000!
 
March 6 - 30 minutes Just Dance 2 (with jogging between songs)

307/1500
