Have fun, drken93! Even one day at MK would make me happy! Btw, this is the Disneyland March thread, here is the WDW March 2015 thread: http://www.disboards.com/threads/official-march-2015-thread.3238100/

I just saw Big Hero 6 a couple days ago, I'd love to meet Baymax! Such a cute movie.

I feel like this is the not so fun part. Things are planned/booked and now we wait...I still have a whole month! Going crazy over here lol.

I do have other things going on between now and then, so I'm hoping it keeps me occupied. My DD's birthday is on Friday, her party is next weekend and we have family coming into town, then the 6th/7th I will be out of town for a conference. I hope it makes the time pass quicker!

Baymax and Hiro had JUST started their meet when we were at WDW in November (in fact, we saw the movie at the theatre in DTD) and the lines were crazy every time we tried to do it, I ended up just snapping a pic from the sidelines, LOL. So, it would have been great for my kiddo who got so close without success already. Oh well.

I need to plan our mornings. I feel pretty overwhelmed and like it is coming too soon. Most of our days are early entry for DCA so we have to go there one of them and I am just paralyzed by the decisions of which day to do what!

We'll be there in 18 days!! :cool1:

I'm still trying to find time to get together with my friend to plan the days that they'll be there with us. We were going to meet this weekend, but the DS came down with pink eye and we were on quarantine. I've got a rough schedule put together and made some reservations, but I'd like to get their thoughts on it. I've got photo mats for both boys as a surprise to bring for character autographs.

I've started packing, but we're going to Tahoe for a family gathering for a few days next week so I'm also packing for that trip. Doesn't look like there's going to be any snow, unfortunately, so I'm not sure DS will actually get to go sledding or have his snowball fight. Hopefully I don't confuse our Disney packing with our Tahoe packing!

I live in Reno, Tahoe is really close to us. We just had a storm and I know the higher elevations got snow (we got rain). I'm pretty sure Incline had a school delay so I assume that was from snow...but we are supposed to be in the 60s all week, so I don't know what that says for Tahoe. Tahoe is always a bit colder, since they're higher up than us, so you never know!

For those lamenting the lack of a 6 day ticket, have you crunched the numbers for an AP? We decided that 2 trips over a year would justify the AP for the family (DW is banker so my argument met with great scrutiny). We purchased one premium and 3 deluxe passes. We did this to take advantage of the higher discounts for the premium pass and work to avoid block out dates for the less expensive deluxe passes. We calculated the value of the discounts (merchandise, food and parking (we typically fly but it is a nice addition if you use it) and it turned out to be an easy decision as we had 2 trips already scheduled.

As it stands we are likely to use the pass 4-5 times over the year so our value is amazing. I know it is a large cash outlay in the beginning and I understand the time value of money, but the AP will "save" us well over $1000 this year and gives my DS and me a great excuse to bug the wife for another trip....The AP has allowed us to slow down and smell the popcorn. Our March trip will be about doing things we've not done or not done in awhile like a last hurrah in Toontown (sadly DS is quickly outgrowing TT), see Mickey and the Magical Map, experience Wednesdays with Walt (AP perk), Relax in the DLH pool, enjoy a Mai Tai at Trader Sam's and the list goes on....

Just some food for thought.

Our travel documents arrived today!!!! I was so excited to sign for that package! DS was too busy playing minecraft to be excited about it with me.

Offical 14 day count down!!! :jumping1:
My 1st ebates check arived today. I organized my Disneyland/San Diego folder with reciepts/giftcards/confirmations etc. Put travel notifications on credit cards, placed hold on mail while gone. Realized the new Disney backpack I ordered for DD had broken zipper, so ordered another. Still have a list of items to check off prior so I don't forget anything. DH has been away for business this week so our week has flown by with busy, busy, busy...but looking forward to his return tomorrow before vday.:lovestruc

We are with you Satye!! 14 days! I woke up sick...I had tonsillitis last month and feel like I am probably getting it again. How I wish my dad had looked in to getting my tonsils out when I was younger. Same with my wisdom teeth. Yeah...
I keep telling myself 14 days from now I will be halfway there!! LOL Valentine's day tomorrow...blah. I'm going to disneyland. hahaha

I just found a hole in the bottom of the shoes I was planning on wearing for our trip. :scared1: So now I need to find time to go buy new walking shoes and break them in before we leave in two weeks! :faint: I don't know how I missed that they were getting worn out.

I've got my Disney Visa reward dollars loaded up and ready to go, and the stack of Disney gift cards I've been hoarding is stashed with our travel documents. I've been putting together a few little surprises for DS and our friends - new lanyards with pins to trade, photo mats and multi-colored sharpies for character autographs, collapsible water bottles, and Disney themed fruit snacks. I can't wait!!

We're going to be there March 15th-19th for my mom's 70th birthday!!! So excited to be taking my nephews and niece. They will get to see how much of a Disneyphile their cool auntie is! :D

Under 2 weeks now! Sucks...I am headed to the urgent care in the morning. Round two of tonsillitis or strep. I'm glad it's happening now, but ugh it stinks!! I hate being sick.
Thoughts of Disneyland very soon will help me cope!

Bummer! Hope you are feeling better soon.

DS's pink eye in his left eye has cleared up beautifully, but this morning I noticed that his right eye is looking like it's in the early stages of pink eye. I called the dr. and got permission to start the eye drops in that eye now. Ugh. Hope we can get this done and not have it going back and forth. Over half the kids in his class have had it in the last two weeks. We've had 3 notes home about it, and his teacher has been doing mandatory hand washing and hand sanitizer. She's been staying late to personally sanitize the surfaces in the classroom. Thank goodness we have this week off of school for mid-winter break. Hopefully we can get everyone over it before school starts again next week! I do not want to be dealing with pink eye at disneyland!
