Hi everyone just returned on Sun 22nd. We flew out of TO on the 14th. We were dropped off at 8AM and were at the gate by 840 for our 1040 flight on WJ. That was a record for us. The airport did not seem busy! The flight was great. Landed at MCO, rented a van from Dollar the lineup at Dollar was long but went quick. The car was a little beatup I made sure I noted all the scratches. We stayed at the Vistana Villages Resort which again was great. Went to Magic Kingdom( saw a small gator in one of the ponds by the parking lot!)Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Went to Tampa on Tues to see the Leafs play, It was a super night! Went to Wekiwa Springs State Park, Did some shopping, Florida Mall, Prem. Outlets. Drove to Kissimmee/Celebration/ just to look around! Spent a day around the pool, DS9 made a friend from Texas. Our flight back was delayed about 30 mins while onboard as WJ had a miscount od passengers? We were all tired when we returned home but we were Happy! How were your trips?

Sounds like a great time! No March Break trip for us this year. I want to go back! ... For now, Great Wolf next week will have to do!

We got back on Sunday also.

We flew from Buffalo on March 13 in the afternoon and the aiport was empty, it was almost scary, boarder crossing on Sunday was slow took about an hour at the Peace Bridge.

We did our second trip on the Magic and it was amazing, I have never heard my girls giggle so much. We did the Eastern Caribbean this time with stops in St Martin and St Thomas. would love to go back to St Thomas for a longer visit it is beautiful.

We went to the parks early, 30/40 mins. So the first 2 hrs were great. On Mon we were at Epcot and rode Soarin with no wait. Magic Kingdom on Sat was busy, they opened up Main Street at 0845 so we made it to the entrance to Tomorrowland by 855. We rode Space Mountain back to back with little wait. We took a break after 1PM(at our hotel)The crowds were still large after 5PM. We also got stuck inside Splash Mountain for 30 mins which slowed us down. They handed out Fastpasses to everyone. We used them for Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear which had long lines in the PM. Hollywood Studios seemed busy in the PM as well. We just skipped rides if the wait was too long, will hit them next time!

Grantclaire ... we were on the same flight down as you! Row 4! My brother and I flew down to meet up with my dh, our two daughters, and my parents. We got to the airport at 7:45 and waited about 30 minutes in the check in line (as we didn't check in on-line). Figured we'd wait forever in the customs line ... NOT a soul in line!!! Some years we've spent almost an hour there!! Then my brother was completely patted down ... still can't figure out why :lmao: ... then we had breakfast and had a good hour or so wait. I kept saying "gee this place doesn't seem very busy ... nothing like past March Breaks" ... maybe everyone flew from Buffalo (we did last year too!).

We had lovely weather ... flew home on the 22nd on the 7:00 a.m. flight ... my hubby, kids, and parents are currently on the long drive home. They are just past Chattanooga ... the drive has been slow with accidents and such. Tomorrow they are calling for severe thunderstorms in that area, so hopefully their drive is ok!! I miss them soooo much!!!!

We were way back in row 19/20, have never been able to book near the front. When I have tried to prebook the front rows are unavailable and at 24hrs before the flight they are all ready booked up. Just a side note I had a coworker tell me a few days before our flight that I was crazy for going at March Break, he still does not believe me when I told him how easy it was!

mkmommy - we were on the same cruise as you....were you on the thread for this cruise. I think I saw you over there.

It was a great cruise and we booked again while on board. :cool1:

March break is way more expensive than other times of the year. We had the first week in December booked and moved it to March and the extra cost was $2600 for the same cruise, same cabin.
