Hi: During our Canadian march break is it extremely busy in the wdw parks?

This is for anyone who has been there and done it.

Thanks,

Deb.

I don't find it that busy. I would judge it as moderate crowd levels.

Have a great time.

Well the good news is that Christmas is busier. :teeth:

Honestly; it's not that bad. Keep in mind that there are different reading/March breaks going on throughout February/March and April, so it's not conjested into one week.

However - if you haven't done so already - I would get moving on your ADR's! :thumbsup2

Last year it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The crowds were manageable. I will be going again this year.

We went to WDW March Break 2006. We flew out on the Tuesday of March Break, not the weekend which would have been busier. The airport was awesome! Our flight was scheduled about 7:30pm, we left home at 4:30pm, got to the airport before 5pm, went thru ticketing, security and we were sitting at the terminal at 5:30pm. We stayed at CBR and FQ and both resorts were great! We spent a ton of time at the resorts....during the day the pools were dead...I guess folks were at the parks. However, we found the parks to be very manageable too. We would definately return during Ontario March Break. GO FOR IT! Blessings, Sandra

Quick question - did you go to the Parks in the morning. We are going in Easter 07 and would rather have a later start to the day instead of getting up at the crack of dawn!!! I know Easter will be crowded but I am trying to figure out the best strategy to get the most out of our vacation.

TIA

In my opinion thats a bad idea.
You have to get there early during these peak periods or you may as well forget about getting on any of the rides and attractions (without encountering major line-ups).Fast Passes would be non existant as well.

We've been during March break twice, Easter twice and Summer twice. Compared to summer and Easter, March break is a piece of cake :thumbsup2 . It is what you are used to, I guess. Line ups weren't that bad, restaurants weren't too busy either. I am impatient and the crowds weren't enough to deter us.We are going back this March! :goodvibes

Regarding the airport. We left Friday before March break and so did everyone else :guilty: . Keep this in mind when you are booking flights.

You will be fine! Have a wonderful vacation :Pinkbounc

We went during March break in 2005 and it wasn't bad at all. Fairly busy but not nuts. Actually we went a few days before March break started and got back a couple of days before it ended. We went to the parks at opening or close to it, used Fast Pass and never had a problem doing what we wanted.

We too, are going spring break 2007. But keep in mind, every province (I believe..) has a diff't spring break then others. In Manitoba, we are from March 25h to the 1st of April *sunday thru sunday*.

I can't let myself worry about the crowds too much, as that's just the only time we can only go! Call me naive or eternally optomistic :cheer2:

It is pretty busy the month of March since as someone said, the break differs across the provinces and in the US. BUT don't forget Disney has extra hours and staff on at that time.

We went last MArch and I thought the evenings were busier than I expected but overall it was OK. Not as good as May or October but not too bad if you get up early.

I drove four teenagers down March 2006, and we had a great time. They had Extra Magic Hours until 3am at MK the first night, so the kids had a ball. Busy, but not crazy busy. Good tip- go to the park that had EMH the night before, and you'll walk on to most rides.
