Dancing it for California too..... Right now it's showing about 20 for the whole week we are there..... Still warmer then here today with our freezing rain and snow! 6 more sleeps to go!!

Good news for me - the bank called and will put the money back in our account. I'm soooooooo freakin glad this is sorted out before we leave.

My kids are on the mend. My husband has a doctor app't this morning. He looks and feels like crap. we need healthy vibes in this house.

I'm looking forward to the sound of my kids jumping in and out of the pool, drinking wine and relaxing!

Drinking wine, pool and relaxing are all my kinda works! It is friggin cold here this morning, and the snow is on it's way as of this afternoon. Hunkering down for a winter storm. My girls and I are going to go through the summer clothes I dug out and pick out what they are bringing, and we are going to pack them in their suitcases tonight. Something to do to bring on the sunshine!

I just saw the same thing. Rain, and sun! I was to go with the sun one as well!!! The weather is the one thing that is so unpredicatable when planning a vacation. Two years ago, on March Break it was crappy weather, and rained for 2 days straight! Fingers crossed the sun one come through!

What weather sites are you looking at? I am looking at Accuweather.com which is the rain one, and weathernetwork.com shows the sun!!! I normally don't like weathernetwork, but this time I am putting my faith in them! I guess only mother nature knows, right!

My brother was there first week of Feb and it showed rain everyday - even while he was there. I asked how the weather was and he said perfect. It never rained at all. Maybe they feed us the kool-aid while there and we don't feel the rain

I was looking at our travel day March 7th and one shows all rain and the other shows all sun!

I'll give it more attention this weekend. At least both sites show mid to high 20's!

I was there two years ago for March Break and I can't remember the weather being bad Must have been all that kool aid I was drinking We're leaving tomorrow evening to drive down, we'll be there on Tuesday so I'm dancing with the rest of you for great weather But..just remember that after this weather anything over +15C is positively balmy.

We had to pull off the road because we couldn't see. I drank alot of kool aid those few days!! It never did get really nice that year! Last year was wonderful, wonderful, and I am hoping for a repeat of weather this year!

Obviously you didn't drink enough of the kool aid, otherwise you also would have forgotten the crappy weather Its obviously not going to be as hot as this week has been but maybe that's a bit of a relief (I'm a "the glass is half full" annoying type of person). Our journey down looks like there might only be light rain so I'll hope for the same or better for you, we have two weeks so we're stopping in Asheville, NC and Savannah on the way down.

Have fun, and I hope you have nice weather as well! I am happy if I get warm enough weather to swim in the pool and wear shorts! It doesn't have to be 90 I just like it nice, and would rather have it a little cooler as long as the rain stayed away! We are there for 2 weeks as well this year!

I think my family is finally over the flu. My husband in on antibiotics for bronchitis - good news is that he takes the last pill the day before we leave! I took my son to the doctor and his ears/throat/chest are all good! The kids have NO more fevers and hopefully will go to school today. I had a fever yesterday and feel good this morning. I have been stuck in this house since Family Day with sick kids.

Does anyone know what the border crossing wait times will be like on Thursday March 8th in the early evening?

It all depends on the time and where you cross. Our trip in 2008, we went right after school on the Friday, so we were in Windsor just before 6pm. It was crazy busy with all the cross border commuters. Wasn't a problem for us as we stopped and had dinner first and it was pretty much cleared out when we crossed about 6:45pm. Although the snow storm that started while we were eating might have had something to do with that too.

Forecast isn't horrible. Lots of sun and while days are slightly cooler, evening are warmer than normal.

I agree with all the above statements! When we got home two years ago we drove from Buffalo to Barrie still wearing our capris, and it was def warmer at home compared to Florida that year! I don't need it hot to have fun, just no snow to shovel, or winter boots, hats, mitts, snow pants......you get the picture. Weather network's forecast is perfect for the time we are there. I am going to go with them, even though usually I never do!
