March Break - do I EMH or Not?

I usually stay off site and so we avoid EMH parks completely. But this year I am on site and we actually think we'd like to try. Is it really that busy on EMH?? Will it give me any advantage to go to the EMH parks.

We can do MK EMH am for rope drop and then I was thinking of HS and AK for EMH pm.

We don't have park hoppers so we are committed to whichever park we choose that day!

I'm a firm believer in the morning EMH. You can accomplish and see soooo much in the first hour or so...

We have only been 2x and we always try to do some EMH. Sometimes they are busy, sometimes not! We like the "not" the best of course . This time we are doing more EMH in the mornings(thanks for the confirmation Highland3 ) and MTMBYCK are you perchance flying Westjet on "your magical day"? we are and mydd15 wondered if we would be on the same carrier so...thought I'd ask!! But do the EMH even just to try...it is really cool !

Plutopuppy, I was a dummy and booked JetBlue back in October when the Canadian Flights were crazy expensive. I'm still flying for less than I would in Canada but not by much!

I think we will stick with our plans of giving it a try. I too believe in the theory of arriving at rope drop, do your favourites, and get out by 1pm and then come back later in the afternoon/evening for dinner, and leisurely activites.

The only park we'll be visiting this trip is Epcot and they have EMH in the pm on the Friday. We really just want to wander around the World Showcase and maybe do a ride or two if the lines aren't long. I wonder if being a Friday might work in our favour since so many people leave that day.

Two years ago we went to Florida at March Break and did a Beach and Universal Studios vacation. So we spent only one day at Disney parks - the Friday.

We did all 4 parks in one day! Epcot had EMH at night so we did Epcot last. It was the most crowded park of the day! The lines were awful! We obviouly were not the only ones with park hoppers!

However.............it was a day we will never forget...good times!!!

I agree that morning EMH are the best bet!
