March Break 2008

Just confirmed by the school board. March break is 10 to 14 2008.

Which one? Calgary's is March 21 and back on the 31st.

sorry dragnfly I should have been more specific. I was quoting for Ontario. I wanted to insert the email from our school trustee that I recieved but sorry I don't know how.

kidszant ... which school board is this for? I had a previous post where we were listing the boards that kept that week. Our board, Simcoe County decided to maintain the 10th to the 14th even though they wanted to combine it with Easter. BUT ... usually we have the Friday before this off as a board holiday, they have taken this away so we won't have three four day weeks in MArch. They are giving us the board holiday on June 27th instead. I don't understand why the big deal about that Friday before the break because we don't do anything on the day anyways!!! The kids are too excited about the school break to worry about any "learning" happening!!! And the teacher is too excited about her upcoming trip to WDW!!! Oh well ... at least not at Easter, which was my goal. I wrote a letter that I sent to every trustee. Maybe it helped ... who knows ... just don't want to travel at Easter!!!
