March AP rate for Contemporary

Has anybody booked the Contemporary with the new AP code for March? What is the nightly rate for standard view?

Well...I don't know about standard view, but I booked the tower Magic Kingdom View for $435/night with the AP discount.

Just checked for March 9 and this is what I found:

Garden View = $357.75 with tax ($315 w/o tax?)
Lagoon View = $482.63 with tax ($425 w/o tax?)
Magic Kingdom View = $527.63 with tax ($465 w/o tax?)

Can't remember what the tax rate is.

AP rates for standard view rooms at the Contemporary are few and far betweeen, but here they are (including tax):

Garden wing Standard view $234
Garden wing Garden view $297
Garden wing Deluxe view $331
Tower Bay Lake View $381
Tower Magic Kingdom View $434
Atrium club Standard View $561

Lots of nights have Tower Magic Kingdom View, or wing garden view left.

Oh dear, you're right, they were!
I obviously wasn't paying attention. There must not have been availability for the Contemporary when I checked, so the Polynesian popped up. My brain is still on holiday, so it's gets confused easily. Sorry about that!

Thanks for the replies. The cheapest I could get Contemporary was $264 a night. I am going March 17-21. According to Mousesavers, this should be peak season and they have the rate as $334 a night. So with the AP discount of $131, the rate should be $203.

We have reservations at Pop Century, which we love. But since it's only a 4-day trip and I've hurt my knee and it's difficult to walk, I was hoping to not have to walk too much and save time getting to the parks. It's just hard to justify paying an extra $833.

I think the $334 is rack rate for a standard garden view room. I was able to get a couple nights at the AP rate for the standard garden view at $208 plus tax. Maybe the rate you were quoted was for the garden view. (not standard).
I wish they would change the names on those categories. Even the CM's somethimes get mixed up. I had pulled up 3 nights at the standard view on line for the $208, but wanted to book by phone because of the different cancellation rules. He kept quoting me $264. I just bit the bullet and booked online.
