March 9th and 10th sold out?

What is going on March 9th and 10th that I am not aware of? Every Good Neighbor hotel I am checking is sold out. I checked the Convention center calendar and nothing is scheduled, no Disney events that I am aware of. I thought we were going a good weekend, now I am not so sure.

There is a Natural Products Expo during that time - might not impact the parks much but certainly could impact nearby hotels. This is a great thread that contains much of what is going on during the year.

It’s spring break season. We booked our hotel 9 Mos early.

people are asking the same thing about Feb 10th - I think busy has a full time job there now.

It's more than that. It's only those two nights, the 9th and 10th that are sold out everywhere. The hotel calendars are open the rest of the month. Even the typical spring break weeks right before and after Easter are still open. I guess the Natl. Products Exp must be huge.

The conference website says that last year (2017) they had over 80,000 attendees!

Natural Products Expo has a huge impact on hotels, restaurants, and traffic! Never noticed much impact on the parks though.

I have attended the Natural Products Expo. It is mind-bogglingly huge. I can't imagine many attendees go to the parks during the day... maybe at night.

I have a room at the Tropicana that I am going to be cancelling for the 8-11 (booked two but only need one), not sure if I can transfer it to you. Anyone know if that can be done?
