March 9, 2014 Dream Cruise

This will be the 3rd cruise for DS & I and the 2nd one for my DH Grumpy. It will be the first cruise on the Dream however!

We'll be coming from Wasilla, Alaska (currently in the process of moving from Anchorage to Wasilla) so we have to make the most of a visit to Florida. This is during DS's spring break. We'll be going to Disney World before (DS's first visit) and to Shades of Green/Universal Studios afterwards. I think this will make the 5th visit for me to Disney World. First visit was back in '73! (In the days of real s)

We have been booked since May and wish I would have gotten to this sooner but here we go...

Brennan (son) - 12 yr old 7th grader...his 13th is weeks away from this
Steen (son) - 9 yr old 4th grader
Cale (daughter) - 5 yr old

We have been to WDW 6 times as a family and just wanted something different but also Disney and with service to the WHOLE family. We went to WDW in March of 2013 and my oldest was wanting to spread his wings a little more than we were comfortable letting him in the parks, he is a great kid and we hated telling him no so much but had to - he handled it like a champ and it got me thinking of what we could do to give him some space but also be FAMILY vacation. We are hoping this will give him that part of a vacation. The other 2 are going to LOVE anything Disney and the wife and I really could use a few hours alone.

This is our Spring Break.

We are leaving Friday Night and stopping at Chef Mickeys for breakfast Saturday morning. Saturday is not planned, a ton will depend on $$$. We are staying at the Residence Inn at Port Canaveral on Saturday Night.
After cruise, we are going to try to swing a few days at WDW until Sunday.

We are totally new to this...we know how to work WDW like pros - feel so behind with the cruise but excited.

Daddy surprised the family at christmas with a a disney cruise, so unfortunately we missed the dead line for the Fish extender deadline.

Last year on our first trip with disney we upgraded to a new room when we arrived. Things kept arriving for the family that was originally suppose to be in our room. The kids were excited then disappointed when we passed the gifts on to the intended owner. It would really make out trip outstanding if we could participate this year, Is there any way we can be added to the list?

So excited to go on this cruise. Will be ready for some major r and r. Have 4 kids. Tyler, boy, 13 8th grade; Jack 10 4th grade; Emily 8 2nd grade; and Ashley 5, kindergarten. My husband Scott and I (Kristen). Hope to meet some of you. It was a Christmas present to the kids. Wish I jumped on the FE bandwagon but no time to do so!

I've started a new FE and have added you to it. I have two possibly three cabins signed up so far (in a day). Looks like it will be fine on it's on but if not I have some people from the main list who are willing to participate (I think). We'll give this a couple of days to see how it rolls but I think it will be magical!
