March 7 - 14 2009 Disney Magic Cruise

I was on that cruise. What have you heard? The cruise was fine, except for the stabilizers not working, but that just made the ship rock from side to side more than usual. A little extra bonine took care of that. The performing cast was awesome and the shows were specactular. We very much enjoyed interacting with the cruise staff and they did an incredible job hosting all of the various events onboard.

something about that the Cruise Director didnt solved some problems. Probably just some jealous guy complaining because his wife can keep her eyes away from Brent.

Seriously, because Brent didnt solved the issue. I cant find the thread and cant remember what it is.

I think it was an issue of not maintaining the adult only policy in certain areas. That thread was closed because it was getting pretty nasty.

Personally, I didn't spend any time in the adult only areas so I don't know about how age restrictions were maintained, but I don't think that alone should dictate the happiness of your entire cruise experience.

Yup, that's it. Didnt get a chance to read it much so I didnt know about the nasty comments part. We never spend time in adult areas but one time my son and I accidentally walked to adult area. It was our first day so I totally forgot about it. A cruise staff saw us and didnt say anything. We are not playing or being loud anyway.

Anyways, why blame Brent on this kind of problems?

It was our first cruise, so I have nothing to compare it to, but from my experience:
*the cruise was absolutely wonderful!
*the crew was fantastic--I've never experienced such consistently good, friendly, over-the-top service;
*the food, of course, was outstanding;
*the entertainment was top-notch;
*the ship was in beautiful condition;
*the DISers that we met were so great! and so were our table-mates;
*we spent most of our free time in the adults-only areas, and never encountered any obvious intrusions of kids;
*Brent is amazing! He's an energizer bunny, always involved in stuff, available to meet and chat, etc.
I read that some DISers had magnets stolen from their doors, but we didn't (we were on level 1, so probably no one comes down there). The malfunctioning stabilizers didn't cause us any distress, but I know some people were on Dramamine & wrist bands anyway, so hopefully that worked for them.
