March 4th 2017 Disney Fantasy

We just booked for the March 4th sailing! Totally new to the DIS Boards. We're sailing with a big crew....my family of 5 plus grandparents and my brother & sister. Age range of 5 to 71. It will be my husband's & my 4th Disney cruise, daughter's 3rd, oldest son's 2nd & everyone else's first! Countdown is on!

Few questions about FE not having done it before...about how many "gifts" do I need to have? This trip is a surprise. We aren't telling our kids until the night before (if we can keep our mouths shut for that long. Lol). So I have to prep everything in secret. Also don't want to overcommit budget-wise.

Also, is it common for people traveling without kids to participate? I'm not sure if I want to include just my crew of 5 or all of us. I mentioned FE to my step mom & she didn't sound interested but I think she'd enjoy it if I included her & didn't ask her to make / prep any gifts. Thots?

Hello! Yes people without kids join. My first cruise was with no kids and I had a blast with the FE. You will need to gift one cabin gift to each cabin signed up for the FE. It can be what ever you choose. Some people do individual gifts but that's up to you. All that's required is the one cabin gift.

I am so excited, just booked this cruise yesterday. This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise, our first was on the Dream. It will be just DH and I celebrating my 40th Birthday and our 15th Wedding Anniversary.

We will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, too! This is our first cruise, and we can't wait!

Happy to join the group! It will just be my hubby and I. Second cruise but first Disney cruise. Will be staying in room 6060. Booked before they announced it was a Star Wars cruise, but SO excited it is. I love Darth Vader . Lol

Hello everyone! I am glad to see our thread is picking up ! This is my 4th Disney cruise and I have organized the FE on my last two cruises! I will be happy to start a FE for this one as well. So for now just post if ur interested and I will keep track. I have never used the conversation option so I will have to take a look at that.

You will love the Fantasy, so elegant, it will be our 3rd Fantasy cruise, just the two of also. Don't forget to check out the Remy experience. Well worth it.

I tried to start a private conversation for the FE but it seems I can not add anyone with less than 10 dis board posts.. So next best option. If ur still interested in the FE post a reply with ur info! Gender and ages of kids. # of Adults in the cabin and any allergies we should know about. And finally ur cabin number. It's up to u if u list ur kids names or u can just say boy/age if u prefer not to list their names. I will compile a list!
