Has anyone ever been to Bahamas in April? i really hope the water temps are warm enough to go in. It was too cold in January to enjoy the water.What is everyone planning to do for excursions?

I went to the Bahamas at the end of March 20 years ago. From memory I got a pretty good sunburn then...the temps were reasonable but the sun is quite strong.

We aren't planning to do an excursion in the Bahamas this time, though. We will probably explore the ship that day.

The weather is my only concern. I'm hoping it warms up a little. My DD was in WDW recently and was disappointed to be in long pants and a sweatshirt. We've only cruised in Aug. or June.

I think we will be fine with outdoor temps. I just don't know about water temps. Hopefully no sharks either. Ha ha.

I did see a 2 ft shark in Serenity Bay the last time I was there. I was surprised how close it was to the beach. He didn't bother anyone and swam away.

I was thinking we should meet up somewhere. Was thinking we should do a meet before the life boat drill. How about 3pm at the ice cream place. Does anyone know the time of the safety drill or a better place to meet? The last time we did this everyone wore something green.

We have gone to the Bahamas end of March/April three other times recently and each time, the air temperature is fine and even the temperature in the pools. Castaway Cay, not for me, but my kids don't mind at all. I haven't even had to get my toes wet because there's such a nice breeze on the beach.

Every time I've intended to participate in a meet and greet, I can never pull my kids away from other activities! But it always sounds like a great idea to me!

If you haven't heard about door magnets, be sure and check out the posts on the disboards about them (search for door magnet). Wal-Mart is usually the best place to get the magnet paper. I've found some at Staples, but they were smaller pieces.

Got our door magnets thank you very much for making sure They are actually on the side of our fridge cause they wanted to curl a bit after we printed them.....just have to make sure they end up in the suite case....lol

Less than a week to go! SO excited. I'm in packing mode and trying to make sure I don't forget any FE things, door magnets, picture mats/sharpies, candy-type gifts for CMs. 6 days!!

We actually really loved it!! We had always stayed at the value before so wasn't sure what to expect, but really enjoyed it. Busses were better just everything all around. Now this time we were booked for FQ but discounts were all out for that one so had to change to Riverside but from what I have ready it is still very good. A little worried since we had such a great time at the FQ, I think you will really like it!!

We leave tomorrow morning at 4am to start our driving journey

Oh and the Easter bunney came to our house last Saturday morning with Disney Gift Cards instead of the normal big basket
