Hey all! Haven't been on this thread in awhile...life's been busy. But we're so excited about the cruise!!! I've added our names to the group brunch list, but I have just one quick question...will attending this group brunch cancel out our individual brunch ressie? DH and I were really looking forward to brunch on our own one day as well (celebrating an upcoming anniversary). I guess I could call DCL and ask, but thought someone here might know. The cruise is so close now!!!

Thanks! It's good to be back! I have to take some time to go back and read the parts of the thread I missed...but I'm teaching :teacher: up until the day we leave, and there will be testing and report cards to write before that, so it'll be hectic. But we will REALLY enjoy relaxing on this cruise :boat: ...especially the spa villa we have booked!

What grade do you teach???

Our thread has been so quite!!!! I was just curious at how many of you are thinking of rebooking while onboard. That is how we ended up with this cruise:)

Thanks Mark for taking care of the brunch ressies. I was reading some trip reports and saw several pictures from the Palo Brunch.... I called DH in to look at them. We started our precruise diet, and after looking at the pictures he said "honey don't look" OMG is looked so YUMMY!!!!!!
We waited too long to book any Palo resservations, so this brunch is our only Palo ressie...hoping to maybe get lucky and will able to make reservations for at least one more time, once we get onboard.... If not, thats o.k......I doubt that we will go hungry at any rate!!!!

We are getting sooo EXCITED... the more trip reports I read, the more anxious I get!!!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!

Brenda :)

Does anyone have an updated list of who's sailing with everyone's information? I can't remember who was compiling that, and don't know if I've submitted all of our info...help!

The "Keeper of the List" is Kim2, aka KSHABARE. I will e-mail you a copy.

It looks like the first brunch is filled up, but given the information that I provided a couple of posts ago, someone else can feel free (if you'd like) to start a second brunch list on the board if folks are interested.

We had a Saturday with temperatures here of about 72 degrees, so all I can think about lately is the cruise!!

pirate: Hey all - I picked up a bunch of pirate pirate: tattoos at the dollar section in Target this weekend - enough to share, so I'll give them out at our meet on Saturday - so exciting!!

Some pirate night pirate: tips for newcomers: so you don't get fleeced in the gift shop on board, you should pick up some pirate pirate: stuff either on Oriental Trading or at your local party store and bring it with you. We got fleeced our first cruise (pre-knowing about the Dis) and felt obligated to buy DS all the pirate pirate: gear to the tune of about $30 (for a hat, telescope, "knife" and hooked hand) :scared1:

Also - glow sticks, bracelets, necklaces, etc. are very popular as well and are much cheaper when brought from home. Again - got fleeced buy purchasing a glowing light-saber-ish thing to the tune of about $18 :scared1: :scared1: on our first pirate pirate: night.

I got some of those tattoos too, so we'll have plenty for all of us!

Hey ho there - it's Kim2. Well, I'm so glad to sit down for a bit. We've had quite a stir these last days. Norman had emergency surgery to remove his appendix. Let me tell you... his surgery scar will be HOT. Well, maybe not. But I'm very happy it happened here in our home town and not in the middle of open water! Nope - no easy surgery either. No laproscopic - too advanced.

I've sent the list on to those I have received email addresses from. I'm missing some and we may still have lurkers. Drop me a line at nshabarekh@snet.net if you need to be added to my list....

Have a great night.

Kim

p.s. I'm not putting on any tattoos - I already have a black hidden Mickey tattoo on my right shoulder! The template for it came right from a copy of the DCL emblem. And besides that, I'm already a sea hag. :rotfl: I will put on my tropical wear unless I come up with something more fun!
