Got room for another family? We are: me-Rebecca, my DH-Jim, DD4-Elise and DD9-Emily. We are sooooo excited as this is the first cruise for any of us This sounds like a great group. Yes I have read the entire thread-I've been lurking for weeks. My DD Emily is very happy to see so many other girls her age. Looking forward to getting to know you all over the next few months!

Hi! NNM is now online Me & the kids are looking forward to meeting you all. This is the first time we've ever gone on a cruise.

Welcome to both families, there is always room for more. Eighteen weeks six days until cruising.

NNM, you should of heard me giggling when I saw what you picked as a screen name! It made me laugh!
It seems both new families are going to fit in just fine with our group!

hello everyone...

We recieved our travel kit guide(the ship and shore booklet) today in the mail from our TA, just wondering if anyone else has received anything yet? Also the planning calender w/ the dates that we can start booking.

December 3rd is when returing cruisers can start booking(if our final payment is made by then), and final payment is due Dec 18th.

Hi all - I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that we received our travek kit package here in Canton, MI yesterday (from AAA).

I do have a potential problem though ...... my wife and I are Castaway Cay members and we should be able to make our reservations on 12/3. The "Planning Calender" on the bottom of the cover letter states that we can't make reservations until 12/18. It looks like I'll have to make a phone call to make sure that everything is in order!

Have any of you check out what is going on with the DIS Boards....(Michaels Mom I seen you have) it's CRAZY Ty Penninton has started a post (Good Morning Cruise Line Family), and it seems that alot of other celebrities are joining in, something to so with secret Project that is soon to be announced...you will have to check it out...

Everyone has been so quiet, could it be that you all have been busy reading the celebs post!!!!????

Yep - I was doing more lurking than posting - as a human behaviour specialist , it was interesting to watch the reactions and number of posts that have come out of these "celebrity" postings! It sure got in the way of my doing and other household chores this weekend

If you have not purchased your DCL transfers, do so today! I confirmed with my TA that the rates are increasing tomorrow but if you purchase today you are locked in at the lower rate. I don't know what the new rates will be but any money saved is a good thing.

Well Caropooh and I have been busy watching, reading and partcipating in the "Great Tag Insanity" on the Community Board. I hope everyone has noticed Caropooh's new tags.

I hope everyone had/has a great holloween. We are getting ready to take the DD's out. DD12 is Wendy, DD7 is Tinkerbell and DD12's boyfriend (don't ask) is Peter Pan. We will post a picture sometime.

Hello everyone

Was just checking out the DIS board Forum... there is a WHOLE LOT of popcorn being ate over there unlike this house where there is a whole lot of trick or treat candy being ate

We had a total of 178 trick or treaters tonight, that was down a bit from last year, it was a pretty bitter cold night here

DD 13 and her friend dressed up like Go GO girls ( Emily won 1st place at her middle school's costume contest) anyway, I heard her tell her friend tonight after they got back, that next year they were going to dress like Eskimo's..it was funny the way she said it....

DD9 dressed like a pink lady off of Grease, and Jake the , dressed like a fire hydrant, it was busy but FUN night .

Alanappa....the "B" word is something that we are dreading to hear ourselves in this household!!!!

The "Boyfriend" is a guy she has known since kindrgarten. the two of them are quite comical together. Caropooh & I are playing it very low key now.

The transfers refer to the bus the DCL uses to get from MCO or WDW to the port and back. We used them last time from AKL to port and almost missed lunch. This time we will rent a car.

Hi all... Thanks alanapapa for the info, after I read your post, I then remembered that the transfers were the DCL transportation. I was stressing abit, thinking that I hadn't made ressies for something I needed to do before a deadline...

We as well have rented a car (w/ budget...)

So have any of you been keeping up with all the post being posted on the BIG SECRET PROJECT?????? I have not.....
I really haven't had the time to be hanging out at the computer all day...Sounds fun though If any of you have been following what's going on, you will have to share your info with us

Hi all! It's been a long while since I've been back here and looks like I've missed alot and, sorry, I really don't have the time to read what I missed. Just thought I'd check in and say to all my fellow cruisers.

Yes we finally had our son Maxx on Sept. 28th. We're getting as much sleep as a newborn will let you. We can't wait till the cruise. We've booked our flights (with airmiles) and all our accomodations and car rentals. We decided to stay at the new Marriott before the cruise and in an IPG Best Western house? Anyone heard of that?

Well duty-calls, hopefully I'll be able to check in more.

Alanapapa and Johnna, I find as well, that I have neither the patience or the time to keep up with all the post going on w/ the secret project, I am though both anxious and curious as to what it is...

Today was a sad day in our family, as we lost our Dear Uncle, he has been sick for quite some time, ( living in the nursing home). We have been taking turns staying bedside with him for the last week, the doctors didn't expect him to make it through the weekend, how he hung on for as long as he did is amazing.. He was a very kind hearted man who was loved by so many. We are having his service Tuesday, which is also the day is would have turned 90

Well tomorrow is Friday YEA!!!!! hope everyone has a good weekend..
