I really want to join a FE group! It will be our first time but I have been doing a lot of research on them and already have some cute ideas for gifts! Please include us, myself (Kristy), my DH (Fred) and DS (Ian age 6). Let me know what other info you need. Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS where FE began years ago.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one seems to be coming forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.

Hey everyone! So excited about our upcoming Fantasy cruise!! 62 days, but who's counting?? LOL

See a lot of interest in an FE group, but no one has started one yet that I see. I haven't done an FE group before, but I am willing to give it a go (I think ).

If anyone is still interested just send me a PM with the following info for each person:

Cabin #
Name
Age
Boy/Girl (Man/Woman)
Favorite Character
Email address

The list will have to close soon (maybe January 31st) in order to give everyone enough notice/time to get ready. I will get the list together and then email everyone a final listing. How does that sound?

The easiest thing to do is to just post some questions in a couple of threads to get to 10 posts!

I am planning on doing a FE but I just found out about it. Any tips for those that have done it before?

Also, how do you know theme nights that you can plan for. I've heard they do pirate night. Just want to make sure we don't miss anything! This is our first Disney Cruise.

They just moved our Pirate night to the 5th night (I believe that is the day we are in San Juan).
