Bad News- More snow today!!

Good News- UPS man was busy delivering packages filled with bathing suits, flip flops, shorts and various warm weather stuff!!! Love it!!!

Kids are not having fun trying everything on, but that is their problem

I have been doing a lot of online shopping the last few days since my back has been bothering me!!!and I have not been able to do much else!!! The is really starting to pile up and since I would have to carry down 2 flights of stair I have been avoiding it. Thank god my husband is "good" b/c he will do it over the weekend!!

Enough of the snow already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NYC schools NEVER ever have a snow day, this is our second in two weeks . My home school district may actually have to make up a day because they are now at the limit! DD is worried it will be during the cruise, oh well, so she misses a day.

Our documents are here ...sort of! They are with my TA but hopefully I will have them in my hands by this weekend!

4 weeks from today we will be getting on a plane heading to Florida!!! I cannot wait

I know!! I did not think we were going to get much here on LI!! Was I wrong, then they plowed my cars in, got the minivan out, but the little car is burried!!! And the best part of this is my neighbor just knocked on my door to tell me I got a ticket for leaving my car in the street during a snowstorm!!! Not sure how I was supposed to get it out of there!!

I really need a vacation!!! And some of my bar bill money has to go to pay the ticket!!!!scared1: Well at least it's Friday!!! I need aor

Ok, I am FINALLY home from Charlottesville and now I can concentrate on the important things - like our cruise! Sorry for all of you still dealing with snow; I'm glad to be back in the desert!

Just a reminder for any fellow cruisers who are still considering joining the fish extender exchange: tomorrow's the last day to sign up. Please let me know if you'd like to participate.

4 weeks from today I plan to be relaxing on deck with a drink-of-the-day in hand!

Hi everyone! We just booked this cruise earlier this week and are so excited! It was touch and go for a while as I watched the available flights to Orlando disappear before my eyes on Expedia, etc. and we had to book a GTY room which made me nervous!

It's myself (Patti I. ...I noticed there's another Patti too), DD 11, DS 7, DD 5 and Gma and Gpa on the cruise. Sadly, DH cannot escape work over the kids' spring break, but he's not a big cruise fan anyway so DD 11 viewed this as a perfect opportunity to go on one!

I just got a chance to log into disneycruise.com today and see that we have been assigned a stateroom 7132 It's exciting to know where our home will be!

I cannot believe that I did this with such short notice. Usually I like to plan compulsively, and this is so little time to do so, but I'm really looked forward to 3 days at sea to relax, and only a couple days to stress over excursions for.

My kids and I would love to participate in the FE...Looks like I just made it here in time for the cutoff! Please let me know if it's still ok!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi everyone! We've been really busy with stuff around the house, so I'm sorry we haven't responded sooner.

On excursions, most of our plans have changed for different reasons. At this point, we have nothing reserved. We may rent a car on St. Maarten, so Pattiwig could you school us up on how you did that? Our thoughts were to do CoralWorld and a beach at St. Maarten (if I recall correctly).

For St. Thomas, we were going to do the Lord Sheffield's pirate cruise on our own, but they have a private booking that day and are unavailable. We'd like to do the catamaran snorkeling excursion, but it is currently sold out. Hopefully something will open up on the ship.

On meeting up, we hope to be noticeable on boarding day. It's a surprise for the family, so just look for a family who "looks" like DCL cast members.

Welcome! And we're happy to have you join the FE group. Will it just be the one stateroom with you and the kids? We are planning to give each person a specific day to deliver (to spread out the goodies) so let me know if you have a preference for a particular day (not going to schedule any for 1st or last day).

Hi, I just booked a car thru the Avis web site, they are right near the port ( I don't remember where I read that... it was around $64 for the day, cheaper than a taxi for four of us, and we get to see a lot more of the island. We did this in Curacao, and had the best day ever. Have a few ideas of what we want to see, a couple of beaches, a french town, etc..

We are Going as Well!! We have 3 of us sailing Me (Jeff),Wife (Amy), and our Son (Cole) 7. Hope to meet lots of friends on the cruise!! This cruise will be our 4th and our sons 1st, he is so excited!

We are very excited! Is there lots of cruisers from this site going? Has anyone been to Maho Beach on St Maarten? Can we get to it from the cruise docks? We would love to see the planes land over the beach,we have been told it is awesome!
