My daughter paige is 13. She also likes to meet friends before the cruise it makes it a better experience. Some friends from other cruises have kept intouch with her over the years.

My DD13, Eliana, has Paiges email now and will send off a message when she gets home from school today.

Hey everyone. I know alot of us are trying to find out what is going on with our cruise regarding formal night/pirate night etc. I contacted the Shoreside Concierge, and they said it has not been established yet, but should be between now and Nov 25, when the first groups of people can book their dinners/spa/excursions.

So I will keep checking with them as Nov 25 gets closer. hopefully they will be out by then.

Hello, Cruisers!

Because the Red Sox got put out of the baseball playoffs I am a little bored, so I have gotten overly involved with the Pinterest website according to my husband! This new Pinterest hobby is turning my FE gift into an obsession! I have a really cute idea, but I need your help. If you don't mind, I would LOVE for you guys to post who your and your kids or cabinmates favorite Disney characters are. I would SUPER appreciate it. You can just post them here or PM me or whatever! That way my FE gifts can be a little more personal!

Glad you're joining us! I can add you to the Google Document of the FE/Cruise list. The doc is listed in post #2 of this thread, just click on it to see all the info. All I need is a little info from you to add you to it:
Stateroom
Family names/ages in the cabin
whether you want to do the FE or not

A quick overview of us...
This is our 5th Disney cruise on the Magic
We are travelling with friends.... The Taylors, Trent and Andrea (stateroom 6610) and their Grandma, Debbie Lock (stateroom 6587). I would love to do something for their kids with the FE too. Their children are:
Madison Taylor - 8 yrs old - Ariel or Fairies
and David Taylor - 10 yrs old - Mitchel Mosso from Pair of Kings or Phineaus and Ferb.

Andrea and Trent Taylor are celebrating their 12th Anniversary on March 25 while we are on the magic.

We live in Calgary, Alberta Canada

Quick FE info: There is no theme, and no limit to what you can or want to do. It's all for fun. Once you sign up on your cruise meet, everyone decides who wants who wants to participate and the fun begins. Yes, you can start now collecting items and making things, and then just seperate it once you get your list. It really varies by family as to what you give, when and to whom. You can give a one time stateroom gift, or you can leave a little something each day. You can do 1 gift per cabin, or 1 gift per person in each cabin. Your choice. It is secret in that you sneak around and deliver your gifts for others, but you can put your name on them (DH and I do, and most of the folks that were on our last FE exchange did). The fish extender itself is a hanging thing with pockets that hangs from the fish outside your cabin door..The gifts are left in the pockets for you to find when you go back to your cabin. They are neat because everyone's is different depending on the theme they use to make it. You can leave just about anything you want for FE gifts from candy to crafts. We received some pretty cool things in ours and enjoyed the experience tremendously. I've already got a good start on all of my FE gifts for our Dec cruise (I'm making some and buying some).

Whatever you decide to do, just have FUN with it!! We haven't set a cut off date yet for participation in the FE. It will be in January. Our group is so large that we will be splitting it in 1/2 (so you would only give gifts to 1/2 the staterooms). You can find the entire list thru the link in post #2. It's the google doc. If the stateroom is participating in the FE, it will be marked with a "yes". Hope this info helps some.

I added your info to the FE doc and to post #2. I didn't add your friends staterooms yet. I wanted to give you time to look over all the FE info and decide if you wanted me to add their stateroom for the kids and/or whole family to participate (they would need a FE hangar at their door) or not. Just let me know.
