Hi, everyone! We just booked this cruise last night! It is our first Disney cruise, and we are SO EXCITED!!! Well, I take that back....my husband and I are excited...we haven't told the kids yet, but when they hear the news, they will FLIP!

I understand some do not want to provide all this so just give me what you are comfortable (bare info for now username). However, I won't post any of the information publically. I may use a google doc but will limit accessibility. That sounds harsh but I am one of those people that hear great ideas, plan to do it and then it sneaks up on me. so if I buy store bought items last minute - is that acceptable of do people prefer homemade items? Do you do the same for all adults and the same for all kids or mix it up? It sounds like so much fun - and I'm sure the kids would love it - just trying to avoid me yelling at DH the week before the cruise because I dropped the ball and am now stressed...

In my opinion its about having fun! We have received everything from beautiful handmade items to store bought trinkets to candy. My DD prefers the candy. Its amazing how creative people can be even with something as simple as candy.

The first time we participated I gave one gift for the stateroom, another time we gave separate gifts for the kiddos and something for the adults. Its really up to you. I know some groups have a theme like something from their hometown/state/country or something disneyish. My DD, niece and nephew just like getting the stuff outside their door. Niece and nephew think Mickey drops it by. (too cute if you ask me).

For me the biggest issue is transporting stuff. With luggage fees and shipping costs it can be outrageous. I too have great ideas but logistics get in my way. I mean how do you get all this stuff there and then get stuff back. It makes my head hurt.

No rush to signup, you can signup and then change your mind. As it gets closer we will need a cutoff date though. Since we are so far away, people will come and go - life happens.

Does anyone have ideas for a cruise name or image? Last year I was on Mickey's Memorial Day Fantasy Cruise. We had a really cool picture and people could borrow it to print door magnets, put in a scrapbook, or make t-shirts for their family.

Last cruise I found it helpful to see a list of who was going. I tried to go back through this thread and compile info. I know it's not complete but you can post corrections/updates and we can correct the list.

We're also booked on the 2014 Fantasy Eastern and we were also on the 2012 Fantasy Memorial Day Cruise! Who can forget when our Disney voyage made it on CNN news by picking up several Cubans adrift at sea?!? I think DCL has them working now in Cabanas.
