GOOD MORNING!! Thought Id post this photo. Im in it but Laura is already over at Serenity Bay saving our umbrella Im about 5 rows back from the flag. Dave and I are holding a hat pretending Laura is standing under it

Hey I'm in this picture too! I'm just to the right of the flag (looking at the picture) in the first standing row. I'm in a dark blue swimsuit with a straw hat on (since I just finished chemo). Mark is right behind me.

Ian - thanks for sharing the photo! Loved it. I found you and Mary & Mark. It is kinda like a Where's Waldo picture. Hope things are going good for you and Laura. Miss talking with you this year since we aren't doing the members cruise. Hope all is well with those of you going again this year.

Mary - how soon before you go on your Alaska cruise? I know it is in June and it has to be getting sooooo close. And Dave's and Gary's cruise too. So excited for you all. Can't wait to hear about them.

Hope the heat wave has gone down for everyone. Here it definitely has. If we hit 75 today we will be lucky. However, it is vey nice just not nice enough for swimming.

Ok, went back and looked at the picture again and I found Monika & Michael too!

We didn't make the photo that year. I think at the time of the photo we were sitting on the beach with Dave and Tanya having a relaxing morning and forgot what time it was.

I have a request. Can we please make the cut-off date January 26, 2012? By making it February 26th, it gives less than a month to finish making handmade gifts for those of us who are making handmade gifts. If there ends up being a large FE group, it might be tough to finish them.

I've never participated in one, so I was merely making a suggestion since I happen to be handmaking the items and can't whip them out that quickly (and don't think boss would appreciate me bringing my sewing machine to work and setting up ). I have already started, but don't want to end up being caught short is all.

No problem ............ I hand make mine also and have 95% plus done by 60 days out ................. so a couple add ons is really no problem ................

Being as they go with my "name" (so to speak), I just was hoping to get them done ahead of time, since come the beginning of the year I'm usually frantically finishing up things I'm putting in our Guild's annual quilt show. OHHHHH, and I won a ribbon this year on one of the ones I put in!
