Good Evening all looks like I missed a lot of good chating,

the only cruise we will be on for awhile is this one! this economy is bad.:scared1:

Good Morning DIS Friends!

Cloudy day with chance of rain. I just hope DD's softball game does not get rained out. Tomorrow may get up to 80! :cool1: It will only last a day though but I will take it!!

Sitting on a call for almost an hour now and it is all technical 'stuff' and boring.......very very boring. Ugh.

Anyone have any more updates on where you might be staying before and/or after the cruise?

Any special excursions you might be considering??

Have a great day everyone!

Regards, Lisa

Good Morning Everyone. Trying to get caught back up but it is difficult this time after going with Becca on her trip. I am so tired. We would go all day starting at 5:00 am and then not get back to go to bed until 11:30 or after. Plus with a 24 hour bus ride out and back, ughhhhhhh.

Also, I am busy trying to plan her graduation party. Can't believe she will be graduating in just about a month. May 22nd to be exact. Time sure does fly.

I would like to say Welcome to our new cruisers. This is a great group of people and it is such fun when more join in. This is gonna be a great cruise!

And Lisa, to answer one of your questions about horseback riding at Fort Wilderness, our girls did that in the spring of 2010. Let's just say that the horses are very tame and pretty much just follow the horse in the lead. Kids have to wear bike helmets while they ride and you just follow the lead horse. Brooke enjoyed it very much but Becca not so much. I just don't think she enjoys big animals, kinda like me. Becca also did the archery while there. And she enjoyed that.

Well, have to get to work. Have a great day! :flower3:

:hippie:Welcome Back from your Road Trip Chris :hippie:

Thanks for the feedback.

Hello Everyone! :wave2:

Happy Wednesday! The temp is currently 81 here. Love it!

One more day of work then a long weekend. :cool1:

Can't wait until GaryDay aka Good Friday aka Earth Day.

Hope everyone has a Hippity Hoppity weekend. We've already had about 3 Easter egg hunts so far. The last one resulted in the neighbor being stung by a bee. :guilty:

Okay, gotta go. I am being called by a needy child!

Good morning fellow cruisers

We sail in 48 weeks!

Wow what a day here, storms off and on all day...we had really bad weather tonight again. tornados...so bad I called mom and told her to go to the basement.

I saw on facebook a little while ago, that a girl I work with got her family to the basement just in time. They are fine, but thier house is gone:scared1:

Mom lives in the same area where she lost her house. I also have heard that people are trapped in a near by church, cars are damaged. trees down.

Lambert airport in St. Louis, windows were blown out and Van picked up and placed on the roof of the airport. Trailer standing on end. People had just arrived on a plane ...people ran off the plane for safety, some people hit with flying glass. Airport is offically closed. Airfield is a mess.

Its been a very scary night.:scared1:

Yikes! :scared1: Heard some of that and was thinking of you guys. Hope everyone is safe. So sorry to hear about your co-worker losing her house but happy to hear the family is safe.

I hope today is a much calmer day for you.

We had rain all day yesterday but nothing like you guys.

Airport will continue to be closed, so much damage. Some planes are landing in Kansas city and then they are boarding busses, to get here.

They have no idea when the airport will re-open

Hope everyone has a great day! Enjoy!

Happy Easter Everyone !!!!

Well here is an airport update, they now are begining to not only receive flights but planes are leaving too.

Yes the airport is still a mess but they are doing what thay can, the airport already needed an renovation, now I guess insurance will be taking care of that

I am excited to report that Saturday I firmed up our arrival date and 4 nights at the Boardwalk Villas prior to the cruise. :cool1:

Only thing left to do is air transportation.

Thats great...nice place to stay:)...I booked air fare for Oct 2 weeks ago on southwest, so glad I did. it would now cost me an extra 115.00 per person to fly.. so I saved 345.00 woo woo:banana:

Good morning everyone - happy Tuesday!

Kathy (QuiltTeddy) sent me her info in so I need to work on updating the website. I know of few others have sent me info over the past month or so. If you haven't already give me you info and pictures and hopefully this weekend I can have everything updated.

On the same note it has been a while since we've done a getting to know you. So to get the discussion started:

Which Disney parks have you been too and which is your favorite ride/attraction in each:

Disneyland - The Original Tiki Room (with Indiana Jones a close second)

California Adventure - Soarin'

Magic Kingdom (WDW) - Pirates of the Caribbean

EPCOT - Illuminations (ok so it isn't a ride or attraction but it is still my favorite). :)

Hollywood Studios - Toy Story Mania

Animal Kingdom - Safari

So what are you favorites????

Way to go. We still have to decide when we are coming in and where we want to stay. Where is everyone else looking at staying? Disney or the port? If Disney which resort?

Excellent! Saving money is always a good feeling.

Disneyworld:

MK: Pirates of the Carribean

Epcot: (Not a ride), but imo nothing can compare to: Candlelight Processional

MGM: Rock 'n Roller Coaster

Animal Kingdom - too many to narrow down!

Thats great...nice place to stay:)

It's our "home", so we usually try to stay here and get the Boardwalk view. One time at about 1 am, they were practicing their fireworks show and we had a viewing while laying in our bed with the doors to the verandah open. :woohoo:
