A Very Merry Christmas Wish to all of our Dear Friends!​

Sorry I'm a little late! Hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday! We had a great day. Tom is home and I'm enjoying every minute! Dustin is just loving having a big brother around! John and I are busy keeping up with everyone! Bobby is home on leave and wishes everyone a wonderful and Merry Christmas! He and his wife are enjoying quality time together and apparently got about 6 inches of snow today! I laughed and told him, well, you said you were tired of everything looking beige! He goes back on January 1. I will gratefully ask for everyone's continuing prayers and support - you have all been my strength this year and I count my blessings everyday that you have helped hold me together! THANK YOU ALL!

We're having a blizzard right at this moment! They even canceled the Eagles football game today to keep everyone off the roads. We're expecting around 14 inches or so they say for right now - we'll see. John is out running up and down the street with his snow blower! He loves helping everyone out - we have a few older folks and our next door neighbor is "very" pregnant, so we're helping keep their driveway clear just in case!!

Tom is over at his friends house and in for the night. Dustin has a friend over for the rest of the night here too. After dinner (late, I know) I think it will be movie time!

Sue - so glad to hear from you. You had your boys home for the holidays. How wonderful. So glad to hear that you all are well and had a great time together. And prayers for Bobby, and you, as he heads back on January 1. What he is doing is truly heroic. Tell him many thanks for all he is doing and be safe.

Too bad about the weather. Stay home and warm and safe watching movies tonight. Hopefully it won't last long. And big hugs to John for helping out the neighborhood. If we lived in town that is the type of neighbor I would hope to have. It really does mean alot to those who aren't able to scoop their own walks/drives. I say this because my Dad used to do it for a couple neighbor ladies when I was growing up. They truly appreciated it very much. And I hope your pregnant neighbor makes it through the night and doesn't have to go out in a blizzard.

Well, it is Monday Morning again and off to work I go. I sure wish that I was able to take this week off, but no such luck. Our second new person starts in the office today and it is my boss's last week of work. Which is really bumming me out. But after working at the courthouse for 39 years I guess it is time. She deserves it.

For those of you out east, Sue, Monika, Lisa, stay safe. Sounds like you are having a heck of a storm.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday. Ours was quiet but very nice. I have one more vacation day today and then back to work tomorrow. Sure has been nice to have this time off.

Well, it is Monday Morning again and off to work I go. I sure wish that I was able to take this week off, but no such luck. Our second new person starts in the office today and it is my boss's last week of work. Which is really bumming me out. But after working at the courthouse for 39 years I guess it is time. Was Santa good to everyone?

Good morning Mary! Glad you and Mark had a nice holiday! Sometimes quiet is nice.

Christmas was very nice. We had Tom home and Dustin just loves having one of his big brothers around! My brother came over with his family and the new baby of course was a lot of fun to see. He brought my mom over and then they had to leave for my SIL's family, and we took mom home a little later after dinner.

I wish I could say I saw all of my boys - but I was not that lucky. I have to be happy and satisfied that he was home on leave for Christmas but stayed in NC with his wife and dogs. They are enjoying a well-deserved time together and he goes back Jan.1. I would have driven down there to see him, but he didn't want that so . . . I'm just happy that he's home and even they got about 6 inches of snow!

Brother and SIL gave me a Disney Dooney & Bourke wristlet and I was thirlled - it's so cute! Can't wait to use it on vacation!!

Sue - sorry I misread. I didn't realize Bobby didn't live that close to you. At least I'm sure you got a better nights sleep knowing he was home in the states. I know it will be hard come January 1st but I know those 6 months will go fast.

I've used this vacation day to do some updates. I've only heard from Ray so I've updated his info. I have however also added our cruise plans (from the first post) and also some teaser photos of the Dream. One of our fellow cruisers on the member cruises Linda (seaulater) took a tour of the Dream and sent me some photos to share of the construction. Enjoy!

I really wish they both lived closer, but yes, Bob is in the Raleigh-Durham area not far from Virginia while Tom is way down south and west in NC below Ashville. But you are definitely right that I am better with him home in the States!

The pictures are great! Thanks for all that you do on the website, Mary! I think I just read that the DReam is now on her way to Port Canaveral! How exciting is that!

Good Tuesday Morning!

Well, I have an exciting day ahead of me today. I get sworn in as the First Deputy of the Recorder's office at the courthouse this morning. And the person who is first deputy now gets sworn in as the Recorder, as she won the election in November. My how things are a changing. It does come with a little bit of a raise not a lot but anything is better than nothing. I just can't believe that it is happening.

And of course last night I get a migraine. I haven't had one of those in a very long time. So my head is still throbbing this morning and all I want to do is go back to bed. But I won't. I'm a dedicated worker and will be there in about a half hour.

Good Morning everyone....
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

First let me say...I dislike snow!!!!! We had a blizzard over the weekend and we have over 20 inches of snow. Winds over 50 mph and soooo cold. I have a terrible cold and I am wishing for spring time.
