FYI, did you know that before WDW was built, Walt tried to make a deal to put something on the St. Louis Riverfront. But the city would not allow that. How dumb was that.

That would have been cool. A midwest Disney!

I wrote to Joanne when this thresd first started, she said she may book when they go on the next cruise, but I forget when that was, So she is aware about us all getting together.

That would have been so cool. A Disney that we could easily get to for a weekeng getaway.

Yay Sue, you are back. Sorry to hear Dustin still isn't feeling well. Hope he gets over it soon.

Monika - yay for you and what 17 days now? How exciting for you and Michael. Have fun.

Flo - Gonna have to get a bigger bag!

I've never been out west so I could go with Mary too! Spread us out a little bit so we aren't crowding Flo and Monika.

And YAY it is finally Friday! Brooke has her first basketball game tonight. Should be fun.

Chris (and anyone else who has never been) I highly encourage you to visit Disneyland. It has a different feel than WDW but it is very magical. To me what makes it so wonderful is that Walt actualy walked those streets and rode those rides. Plus Disneyland is extra special at Holiday time as they do makeovers of both the Haunted Mansion and It's A Small World themed to the holidays. Lots of fun!

Mary - we so hope to get there one day. Since this will be our last official Spring Break at WDW, we are starting to look at going to DL for Spring Break for a change. Hopefully we will be able to in the future.

Mary: I would love to visit DL. I was there a long time ago and I really want to go back. I have been talking to Michael about going there. Our DS and DDIL were there a couple of years ago and they just loved it.

Monika it was my goal to have that info for the website, but I've been a little lax in that area. I'm off next week so should be able to make some progress. I could then give you the info to be the "official" celebration queen if you wish. That way people won't have to send it twice.

Thanks everybody! As you can see in my signature, we were married at the Caribbean Beach Resort 19 years ago this coming Sunday. We were married in the Gazebo on the Island in the lake at the resort.

For those of you who can see the aerial view on Bing or Google maps, the Gazebo is on the south end of the island. I visit it at least once a month.

Wheeeew! Looks like I dodged the bullit this year since my birthday was earlier this month.

I did get a great present from Allen (DH) though. Seems like a Dooney & Bourke DCL purse somehow made it's way into someone's luggage on our October DCL cruise. Funny thing is that Allen wasn't even on that cruise, but yet that's what he gave me for my birthday? He's the best!

I like Mary's idea we can split the group then we can compare notes on the cruise. Also, I can't wait to see the pics of Disney CA at Christmas. Maybe we will do lunch after the holidays to see all the pics we take.

Well I have some news. We are not driving down to WDW. We are flying. We got air out of Milwaukee, WI ( only about 1 1/2 from me) for under 500.00 for the three of us. So my wounderfull son said to book it and he would pay for it. He is such a good kid.
