Good news everyone. Bob is safe and wasn't near the attack on the convoy outside of Kabul. Whewwwww!

And he said he would really appreciate the packages and to thank you all very much for thinking of him. He said he likes the cracker packages with the crackers and peanut butter, or crackers and cheese (the small wrapped ones). Granola bars and nuts are good too. He always likes to get candy, because what he doesn't eat, he shares with his co-workers and they like tootsies rolls. He likes magazines about hunting and fishing and outdoor stuff. He says he has a library available for books, besides they are heavy to ship. But puzzle books, like suduko and such, are nice.

Really, anything you would like to send would be awesome and so appreciated, by Bob, his crew, and of course, all of us here! You guys are the best!! Thank you so much.

I will PM his address to anyone who wants it - just let me know!

Great news, Becca got accepted to Iowa State! So excited for her. I didn't think it was going to be a problem but she did. Don't know why. She has never gotten below a 3.7 grade point so she really has no problems with school. Except Calculus. It is really kicking her in the butt. I'm just so proud of her for getting to calculus. I never made it past Algebra 1.

I believe her major is going to be in English. She really loves to write stories. Plus, she likes to say she is an English Natize. Ya say something wrong and she will definitely correct you. She has always done this, even when she was little. I guess good grammar was just built in her when she was made.
