Yay Ray!!! So glad you are coming along with us - and yes, the wait is going to be a killer!

Ok. Went to the store today and bought it out. So now we are prepared for a Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Right now I have my pumpkin pie in the oven. Love pumpkin pie!!!!!!

Still need to boil my eggs for deviled eggs and cook supper for tonight. But I'm getting there.

We also cleaned the bathrooms and stuff so I think we are good to go!

I know it is early but my sister and her boyfriend are going to Branson, MO on Wednesday to spend the actual holiday so we are going to celebrate tomorrow with my family. My parents go to Texas for the winter so they aren't able to join us.

Need to go check the pie!

Fun things are happening at my house! Talk about weird - but if it works . . . Dustin brought his deer home and now my ex is in the kitchen butchering it for us so we can wrap for the freezer!!

Pumpkin is not exactly my favorite but I make it for Thanksgiving. Tomorrow I'm making an apple pie with crumb topping and some apple struedel.

Anyways, I finally have my reservation squared away and my stateroom is #7506 (forward starboard - WAY forward) late dining, 7:00 show. Now the waiting begins and I'm going to go crazy.

Pumpkin Pie Cake

"Almost like a pumpkin pie cobbler. Rich and yummy. Try it warm from the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Originally submitted to ThanksgivingRecipe.com. "
Ingredients:
1 (29 ounce) can canned pumpkin
puree
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated
milk
3 eggs
1 cup white sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow
cake mix
3/4 cup butter
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease one 9 x 13 inch pan (preferably metal).
2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture. Melt the butter or margarine, and drizzle it over the cake mix. Sprinkle walnuts over the top.
4. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until done.

Mark and I got the holiday season off to an early start with attending a holiday party last night. The couple hosting the party we met through the 2005 DVC Member cruise. David ran the Member Cruise from DVC's side that year and did a fantastic job. Their home is filled with so many wonderful Disney treasures. That year we got a DVC Member Litho from Ducky Williams. They not only have the litho framed but also the original pencil sketch from Ducky and also a collage of pictures of Ducky working on the sketch. David has since left Disney and he and his husband Connie now live in Illinois as David works for Sears now. It was great to see them and start the holiday season.

I love pumpkin pie. it is one of my favorates.

Well yesterday we finalized are plans for the December trip.

Set up the Magical Express and got are tickets from the broker that the DIS recommends. So now all we have to do is wait till it is time to leave.

Visiting our DS, DDIL and DGD today in Baltimore. Looking forward to seeing our granddaughter....she is 8 months old now--our Disney .

Tomorrow, we our daughter comes home from school. We will be picking her up. She will be home for a week. Very happy....miss having her home. Always great when she is home.

Thanksgiving will be at our house this year.
