We had a great time at Universal last week and can't wait to go back during Spring Break. We now have Seasonal APs and are looking at 2 nights on site for the EPs and 2.5 days in the parks. I have a conference in Orlando later that week and we need to squeeze in a little Disney for the littles too. Would you go straight to Universal at arrival on Friday then have 2 days in the parks Saturday and Sunday or go mid week?
Touring Plans rates both Universal and Disney lighter on the weekends and higher during the week. Looking at the calandra we do not have any blackout dates, just no early entry on Saturdays in March.?. But early entry isn't a deal breaker for us.
Thanks!

I'm thinking of getting a seasonal too - but i hear that Feb/march is Mardi Gras and if there's a concert on a sat or sun, seasonal PHs aren't allowed into the park that entire day where the concert is (Studios, I think.) Just wanted to share that head's up before you get too far along in picking your days. You can do a search on this board and probably find a few threads where it's discussed or call Uni for more details. Problem is they won't release concert schedule until Jan. I'll probably upgrade to power pass just to have the additional flexibility. Only seasonal PHs are affected.

I saw another thread about Mardi Gras and the concerts just after I posted this question. I guess that means it would be better to do USO during the week...
I read in some previous years the have concerts Saturday and Sunday, not every weekend but sometimes.

Someone said it's usually either sat or sun...but there were 3 wknds last year when both days were concerts. One day would be fine, but to be blocked out both Sat and Sun wouldn't work as we drive in and only come up for a 2-3 days at most. I think blocking seasonal passholders from the park completely for a concert is a bit extreme - just rope off the general area and don't let people in. I really don't care about the concert myself.

Thanks! I'm not concerned about the concert but we would like to at least ride HE or visit DA. I promise to not enjoy the concert :D
I'm now looking into flying in early because of flight costs during spring break :earseek: that would put us at Universal Thursday and Friday and hopefully avoid the concerts all together.
