Hello again all,

Well after solving my May 2015 Magic Circus issue (see other thread) I'm in a much better mood and have started to look at our March 2016 trip!!

I love planning ahead, so it's never too early for me! lol But I'd like some advice on a few things if possible. I THINK I know the answers, but baby brain ensures that it's probably best I check!!

We're going to stay in the HNY with a good offer on the Irish DLP website. But we ideally need to NOT pay the full amount at the moment. I've only ever booked online and paid in full early on, so:
1. What number do I need to call to make a booking through which I can JUST pay a deposit?
2. How much would the deposit be? (percentage is fine).
3. By when do you need to pay the remaining balance and can you do it in installments?
4. I'm assuming I can book our room and my friend's room on her behalf? Would that result in one booking number or two (like when doing it online)?

I'm booking one room for me, DD and unborn infant (DH will have AP and we'll add him later), and another room for 1 adult (my best friend is coming too!!! YEAY!). She will be travelling via Eurostar (we'll drive) - if we're lucky and we get the earliest tickets...
5. How much are the cheapest tickets? I want to say £69 each way??
6. When do we think (I know it's only a 'guesstimate'!) tickets for March 2016 may be available? I know the Christmas ones aren't available yet....so would September/October be a sensible guess?
7. I'm assuming that it SHOULD be pretty easy to grab her just a 1 ticket return at the cheapest price if I phone up on the day the bookings open? Can I do it on her behalf??

Right, I think that's it for now - I'm ridiculously excited, especially as she'll do all the 'scary' rides with me! lol

Thanks you lovely lot!

1. You can just call the standard Disney booking line for this. I'm not sure if it works in Ireland but I use 0800-Buster so that it's free.

2. It's 15% minmum.

3. You can pay off as much or as little as you want in instalments by calling up and telling them how much you want to pay. You can also pay online but it'll only let you pay the full remaining balance. You have to pay off the lot 60 days prior to arriving.

4. I would assume so too, though I'm guessing you'll be paying 15% of both rooms.

5. Yep £69 if you strike fast but cheaper if you change at Lille (those seats aren't available until 3 months before though)

6. Eurostar release dates are a magical mystery. I'd keep an eye on here to be sure but it can be nine months in advance.

7. In theory, I've never had any issues doing so. I'm a worrier so I will stay up until midnight on release day to ensure I get the first batch! Yes you can book their ticket but you'll need to make sure her name is on the passenger section. They don't mind if it's a little wrong as well (i.e Jesse/Jess instead of Jessica) as long as the passport name has a vague resemblance to the travel name.

The cheapest tickets available for the direct and indirect Eurostar are £69 return, not one way. It's reasonably easy to get hold of these on the release date, and even after that, but this does depend on when you're going. Not surprisingly the cheap tickets during peak times like school holidays and bank holidays can be much harder to get hold of.

Brill thanks both, that's a great starting point. I'm UK based (Wales!) but the Irish site has better prices than the UK one at the moment, and I think I have a number saved somewhere that I can phone before phoning Disney directly - is the booking line number on the website? Will check myself later....! I'm assuming so!
