I'm a lot later than some of you in planning, but we just finished paying for our trip on 3/21-26/2016. Room, park tickets with Park-Hopper, and a dining plan (yeah, yeah, I know, but the wife and mother-in-law like the all-included stuff with the dining plan....they would, since they're not paying this time. ;) )

It'll be me, dear wife, and our nine-year-old on our second trip to WDW. Hopefully, it won't be our last.

We'll be taking my mother-in-law this time, her first trip.

Staying in a family suite at the Art of Animation resort. Yeah, that's a distance away from the parks, but we stayed at the Contemporary for our first visit. :) That was a nice treat and so close to everything. The little guy wanted to stay in "the cartoon resort" this time around. Besides, our first mission is to go to the Animal Kingdom, which is nearby.

What are we celebrating?

a) Little guy's spring break
b) I'm sick of adulting and taking a extra week off from work to do this. (Of course, being an adult pays the bill for this trip, LOL!)
c) My brother-in-law moved to St. Pete, so we'll spend a day with him--that's the reason to bring mother-in-law, so she can see him while me and the little guy rock in the park.

I only wish there were more discounts this time around, I'm paying full boat except for the "buy 4 days at the park, get the fifth day free" current promotion.

The wife and I plan on at least one "date night" during our time in the park. This is where we involve you guys. Which Disney restaurant would YOU go to for a romantic night out with your significant other, and WITHOUT your beloved little one?

Also, how are the suites at the Art of Animation resort?

I keep swearing I'm going to stay off site and pay less next time, but can't bring myself to do it. Doggone it.

In any case, thanks for letting me free-associate in this thread!

PS, please pardon the old signature. It appears the rules for signatures have changed since I posted here before....have to have 10 posts first. Then I'll update!

We are going next month too:yay: We will be doing a date night w/o our just turned 10 year old son. We decided to go to Morimoto Asia. I have been wanting to eat at one of his restaurants, and it's one of the newer ones in town. We are also going to hit Trader Sam's before hand. On previous trips, we have had a date night at Victoria & Albert (completely budget busting awesomeness:) ) and Jiko. We really liked Jiko. Animal Kingdom Lodge is very pretty, and Jiko was romantic, quiet, and off the beaten path. The food was excellent too. I had originally booked Narcoosee's in Grand Floridian, but then Morimoto opened up for reservations. The Boathouse at Disney Springs looks really good too. I thought about Chef Paul's in Epcot as well. Man, I need finish updating my PTR. It's not long now before we will be there.
