That just goes to show how fast these rates change. For my dates, what was coming back as $199 yesterday is now coming in over $400. (And to answer your question, I didn't use any codes)

EDIT: Just went in again...for YOUR dates of 3/17-3/24, use a code of IG (which is Alamo's last minute code), you'll see Standard SUV and Full-size Crossover for $199 and Fullsize car for $164. (and you should be able to apply coupons as well)

It won't let me apply the coupon... says it's invalid with the IG code... when you add taxes into the $164, it goes to about $220ish...

Yeah, you're right about that...at least for the $25/week coupon. The only other thing I can think of is to try to play around with different coupons to see if any work.

I had that problem about a week ago. I went in the next day and for some reason it worked, although you don't want to wait if you've got a good price going. Also try SUNPROMO, befire I found National's price, sunpromo was offering a better deal than IG for me.

Well, I'm starting to think the rates I have on my 3/20-3/28 and 3/20-3/29 midsize rentals are as good as they're going to get. They've only been going up for weeks now. They're both sitting at $187 including taxes and fees, so not horrible I guess.

I hope everyone found deals they are happy with! If you've already taken your trip, hope it was wonderful. And happy travels to those of us still counting down!
