Hi everyone,

I returned from a fabulous trip to WDW a few weeks ago, and we had such a great time we want to go again since we'll be in the area during March for baseball spring training.

We're thinking of going to WDW either 3/12-3/19 or 3/18-3/24. Since Easter is at the end of April in 2009, do you think that either of the dates I have will be peak season? I'm asking because I'm stuck on staying at the Contemporary like we just did, but if the rate is too high, I'm going to have to look into other resorts, which I should start now since I want to book this in September. I might try going through AAA, since I don't think I'll ever get those magical codes people talk about.

Anyways, I know they haven't come out with the rates yet at all, but everyone here is so knowledegable I figured I'd ask you guys your thoughts.

Thanks :)

Mid-March is usually considered peak season because that is the beginning of Spring Break Season, so the rates will probably be high for the time frames you are thinking of going.

Yes, mid-March will be "Peak Season" but should be a great time re crowds to visit. The weather is "usually" nice and you are there before the public school breaks start. (We'll be down there too.)

I would, however, go ahead and make room only reservations now and then just try to add the AAA code when that comes out later this summer.

We normally go the last week of March or the first week of April. We didn't do it this year because of how Easter fell at the end of March. But in the past, the time there has been absolutely wonderful. Weather is gorgeous and lines are pretty low. We love that time of year. :goodvibes

My children's spring break will start on March 13, as will many other schools in the south, that's why it's considered peak season and the spring breakers will start rolling in.
