Is there a March 2009 code watch? We are going March 1-7th. We are planning on staying at POP. Last year they had a general disount for free park hopper & water parks. I hope they do it again this year!! :cool1:

I can't wait until the rates come out this summer so I can book my package!

We're going March 14/15th (haven't decided yet) to March 21st. I'll join you in the wait/search! :)

Ive never done this before. We arriving from UK 26th March to 10th April. Got first 10 nights booked at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas but DESPERATE to stay on site in All Stars Family Suite from 5-10th April so looking EVERYWHERE I can think of for discount codes!!! Am I right in thinking you can get them through this site?

I'm in - I'll join you in the March 2009 search. We're planning for March 12 - 16 as we've already booked two weeks on the Gulf Coast. We just came back from two weeks at Disney and decided we "needed" to go back again next year.

Hope we're all successful! I'll be watching and reading and waiting.

Nora

please excuse my ignorance but will these codes only be valid for US citizens or can us brits get on board too??

Planning on staying at the Poly March 20-28th and debating between waiting for a code or going AAA discount. Since Spring Break is in March isn't it typically not a discounted time? I am still hoping for one though!

KAZ65 - pardon my ignorance. I'm sorry I don't know the answers to your questions, but someone will, and I know that we'll get our answers here.

I'm from Canada, and I'm pretty sure we can get codes. I've never tried before. We just came back from two weeks at Disney, but stayed off-site in a vacation home, which we loved. However, this time (March 2009) it's just two of us and we'd like a deluxe resort on-site for just a few days.

I'd love to get a better price than rack rate, because it's sooo expensive! I did just order the Planning DVD, hoping that will help me get a code or pin. I read that hint on the Code Board. Looking for more hints and tips.

I dislike paying top dollar for anything - I love a deal, but don't most of us?

Juliebee - have you booked the Poly already? Should we be booking now for mid-March? What kind of rate did they give you? We're looking at the Wilderness Lodge, because it's still a deluxe, but one of the least expensive of the deluxes. However, it does look spectacular. I wonder what they have left and what the cost is? I guess I should call and find out.

Yes, I have already booked. Since it's our Spring Break time and my dates are not flexible at all, I wanted to book it so I am certain that I have a room at the resort that I pick. Since the 2009 rates aren't out yet, they charged me one night's rate (based on 2008 fees) as a deposit and once the 2009 rates are announced then my remaining balance will be adjusted. Given our economy I am hoping they don't raise rates over the 2008 prices. But that is a big hope :lmao: I also considered the Wilderness Lodge, however we live in Oregon and the lodge looks like Oregon-ish and we wanted a change of pace and decided on the tropical feel of the Polynesian. :lovestruc

A couple months ago I recieved a discount code that I couldn't use since it was for 2008 only and I just looked it over right now and it doesn't say anything about being a US citizen. I believe the discounts aren't just for US citizens. Just make sure you request a vacation planning DVD from disney so you get into their system!

Thanks for all the great tips. I am totally addicted now to these DIs boards.
The resorts look sooo gorgeous that im keepign everything crossed that we will be able to afford a 5 night stay over somewhere April 5th to 10th. will follow you rtip and order a DVD pack and hope for a discount code too

I am joining in on the watch too. :dance3: We can't wait to go!

Count me in on the watch! I have been waiting for the Princess Half Marathon packages to be available. They were supposed to be released June 1st, but weren't.

Do you guys think any dates in March will be Value Season? We usually go in February but am thinking of March for 09

I'm in. Hoping for the free hoppers & water parks. March 24- April 3. POP 5 nts BWVs 5 nts.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I think a lot of March is Peak Season. :headache: Do they EVER offer discounts? :confused3

Add me to the watch. If I can afford it, I'd like to go at this time for my spring break. It' be a nice treat:)

Heres to hoping for March codes. You never know with the economy like it is, and money tight, they might be having more codes to bring the crowds to the World.

Were looking into going the first wk in march around february 27th till March
8th. I'm crossing my fingers for an AP discount. I called today and the value resorts are staring out at 119 plus tax and this is without the 09 room rate released:scared1:
I wish I had DD's school schedule so I could plan. Today Airtran has a nonstop flight out of my local airport for 76$ one way. It is never that low 8 mths out I can't take her out of school so I have to make sure what days she has off.

We are going March 5-10th. I have my air booked so far but nothing else. DH wants to stay at WL....I hope there are codes too!

we're looking at the exact dates you're there....did you already book? How do you that - book one night's deposit at full rate....then call back and apply the discount? Do they also accept your AAA discount if you call back with that?
