MARCH 2009- any thoughts

unfortunately as me and my partner are buying a flat we are unable to go away this year but are hoping we can in march 2009. We always go at the beginning of september as the weather is hot and all the kids are gone and queues are short but we can't wait until sept 09 so we thought march might be good! obviously before easter holidays not sure on dates yet though!

Anyone been in march how was weather and crowd levels?

Also we have never paid more than £700 for 2 weeks even at POP and was wondering if anyone knows when deals come out for this date?

any feedback will be great!!!

Weather in March can be unpredictable, it's likely it will be nice and sunny but nothing like as humid as the hot summer months.
You may also find though it may be on the cool side, especially in the morning's.

If you miss Easter the parks should be fairly quiet, if you don't it will be packed.

As Johnny says unpredictable. We were there from 22nd March this year, 1st few days fleeces and long trousers all day then it warmed up.
Last year we were there from 7th April. 1st week again fleeces.
For crowds problem is many US schools and colleges start with spring break from Mid March. If you can go 1st 2 week in March probably quieter.

Yes I think that's one of the best times of the year to go.
